Summerwind II is just 1 1/2 blocks from the beach in a quiet neighborhood near Highway 79 and Front Beach Road. The NEW PIER PARK and FRANK BROWN PARK less than half mile away and 30 minutes from the Siver Sands Outlet Mall in Destin. 20 minutes to Sea Side.

This newly remodeled 3 bedroom home has all new furnishings and fixtures. The spacious floor plan sleeps 8-10 comfortably. 1 king bed, one queen, and two full beds, with new mattresses. 4 TV's with DVD's for your entertainment.

Granite counter tops and ceramic tile floors add to the clean open concept. Enjoy the comforts of home with brand new washer, dryer, and dish washer. About Jay Nisbet

We have six children and live in Texas. We love to go to the beach and I bought the our first beach house for my bride's 40th birthday. We gutted the house down to the studs and completely remodeled it. I decided to start renting the house to make up for some of the monthly expenses and it turned into a great small business. We decided to expand in 2005 and bought another house in Panama City Beach and renovated that as well. Both house have been a wonderful blessing for us. A group of us went to El Centro for Spring Beak & had the most wonderful time! We were less than a five minute walk from the beach and when we got there it was a good mix of people & definitely not crowded or a lot of trash on the beach! The house itself was awesome, it came with full linens and towels for showering (we brought our own for the beach) as well as cable/internet for the 1 rainy day we had. The pool in the back was perfect for hanging out as well as grilling and eating on the tables outside. The Pool cleaning service came by twice while we were there so it was always clean. There was a trash service but no recycling, luckily there was a self-sorting recycling center about half a mile away. We were close to Winn Dixie which once you got a store card was really cheap as well as a CVS and a Super-Suds which is like a Brew-Throu and had really good BBQ sandwiches. We were a short walk from the Pier Park which had awesome shopping and also live music as well as restaurants as well as Dustys which gad a great atmosphere and seafood. During the trip we got two different calls and texts to make sure we had gotten into the house okay and everything was comfortable! Overall I would definitely recommend this place, it was close enough to attractions if you wanted to go out, but also low key enough for a day lounging by the beach/pool for relaxation!

We loved this home

We had a very enjoyable experience at this house...we particularly loved how secluded and private the pool was. The house had a thick border of trees between it and the other homes.We also appreciated that the owners stayed in close contact with us throughout the advance of Hurricane Isaac, even sending someone over to secure the outdoor furniture. It was a quick and easy walk to the ocean, and we found the neighborhood to be quiet and peaceful. We definitely would consider returning to this home.

This was our 2nd family vacation at Summerwind II, and I can't say enough about this property! Our grandchildren now refer to this as "Our house at the beach"! Thank you Jay and Krystalyn for all you have done for us! We think this is the perfect place for a family to enjoy with children! The house is spacious, clean and comfortable, but not so fancy you are afraid to let the children enjoy themselves too! The pool is wonderful they wanted to swim all day.I would love to see a patio cover of some sort added on "our house" to sit out to watch the children in the pool. We highly recommend the pirate ship if you have little ones! 2 hours of non stop fun the crew entertains the children while the parents sit back and relax! Again thank you for your hospitality and hope to see you next year!!

Love the location. you can walk to beach, grocery store, and pier park with out ever getting into your care. The house is nice and cozy with plenty of room for a large family, with a awesome private pool.. Had a wonderful stay.

This house is wonderful. Location is prime. I could walk to beach, prier park, grocery store and never have to get in my car. The house was nice and cozy had plenty of room. Loved private pool. Better than a motel anyday.
