The Villages IS America's friendliest hometown as you've probably seen advertised on FOX News. It can be your hometown paradise where you enjoy all the sporting activities and golf on 35+ golf courses. Dance nightly on the square to free live entertainment! Or you can just kick back and relax on the screened lanai in this 2007 built private retreat with open, vaulted ceilings and magnificent upscale décor. From the front and rear yards you can see a distant view of Amelia golf course and into a cul-de-sac with lake view in rear. This beauty is exactly 2 miles from the Sumter Landing town square for shopping, restaurants, theatres, etc.

Master bedroom has memory foam mattress for great support and a comfortable night's sleep and 27" HD color TV. Queen size guest room boasts a cushy soft pillow top bedding. The den/study has a full size sleeper sofa and desk with wireless hi-speed internet connection. All furniture is rich, modern espresso finish and colorful decor of accessories circling around a predominate seafoam blue. Ceiling fans throughout. Entertainment center with 42" HD TV.

The optional temporary IDs ($50) allow you to play free golf on the 20+ executive courses and play the 8 championship courses for an additional charge as well as participate in all the other fun recreational activities. There is something for everyone!

Vonage telephone allows you to make unlimited local and long distance phone calls in the USA, Canada, Europe, etc. FREE.

You can walk, bike, or ride in the Yamaha gas golf cart with Sunbrella upholstery (included) for 15 square miles thru the heart of Florida's exotic bird and wildlife preserves, etc. This is a botanical paradise with majestic live oaks with spanish moss and thousands of varieties of plants.

The Villages itself offers golf and hundreds of other activities. Atlantic and Gulf beaches are about an hour away.... so is Disney/Orlando and Busch Gardens/Tampa.

Convenient Location

We liked the central location of this home in The Villages. It was convenient to all three town squares. The back yard faces a horse farm so there are no houses directly behind making the lanai a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the view. The gas powered golf cart was very nice. The kitchen is equipped with the basic essentials and the laundry is located in the garage. Although this is a rental home, we were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. Also the grill, which is a picnic/park style grill, has seen better days.
Recommended for:  Age 55+
Owner's Response: Due to the high occupancy rate of this property this past year some upgrading was postponed. This property will be undergoing a uplift starting in May. Interior painting and replacement of carpet with tile - except for the bedrooms. The grill will also be replaced.

We had a wonderful time at The Villages and this home was great. The owner was very helpful and even gave us a guided tour of the Villages......very helpful for us newbies. The house was spacious, well appointed and the location was quite central and we had easy access to everything The Villages had to offer. The kitchen was well equipped and the free calling to Canada was a real bonus. The only drawback......if you can call it that....was the barbeque. We love to barbeque and would have liked a gas grill. I would recommend this place to our friends.

Sara and Ray are the best!! House is perfect close to everything and the golf cart is top notch. From the tempurpedic bed to the gas stove this place was perfect for us. Also, wake up early and watch the horses off the back lanai!! We highly recommend this as your next Village rental...

The home was very nice. The decor was well done, the bed in the Master suite was very comfortable. The location was near to all the amenities. The view from the patio was very nice and private. The Villages is a great place to vacation for an extended period of time and would be a great place to live. Sara was a pleasure to deal with, very responsive if we needed anything.

We stayed in this beautiful house for a whole
month in March 2008, everything what is said
about this home is true. It is beautifully furnished,
the master bed it big and very comfortable. The
house is situated very central, with supermarkets,
the swinging city center of Lake Sumter Landing
with all the nice little shops only few minutes drive
from the house. We played golf almost every day
and it was very convenient to have a golf chart in
the house, the golf courses are fantastic. The lanai
veranda is very private for a good rest after another
beautiful day in the Villages, we can only
recommend this beautiful home, Solla and Snorri
