My family stayed at Lake Summit Over Thanksgiving 2012. I came from Pgh PA, My son from St Pete Fla,my other sons and husband from Memphis TN.It was practically an equal drive for all of us. The house is awesome.Furnishings,decor and setting are all beautiful.
The water was done due to the damn being repaired ,I would love to rent it again when the water level is up. The surrounding towns and Falls are a great afternoon trip.
The owner was very accommodating before the trip,sending emails to update and remind me of things I might need.
The driveway a bit of a hill,we had trucks which worked well. We had beautiful weather,I would imagine it might be a bit difficult after a snow fall,but then again you are in the mountains.
I would highly recommend renting this home.
