12 miles from Asheville, Chalet Quietude is nestled in the woods of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 3 acres with a year round view at 3300 ft. The chalet-styled cabin is comfortable, cozy, newly renovated & decorated so you may feel at home when you are there. The furnishings were chosen to provide the utmost in comfort & relaxation. The pillow-top mattresses, bed sheets & pillows are luxurious & white for cleanliness. 3 bedrooms with king, queen & twin beds sleeps 6 comfortably. The kitchen is arranged for family cooking & conversation with a dining counter built around the cook top. We permit smoking outside only & cannot permit pets even though we love them. Children are welcome with your respectful guidance. We have 3 satellite TVs & high speed internet, a washer/dryer, hair dryer, robes & flip flops. Our hot tub is in the best possible place to relax with the wide view of the valley & mountains. Sunsets & soaking in the hot tub is the perfect end to a day of adventure & fun.

Our cabin in located 15 minutes from downtown Asheville...12 Miles. We have 3 acres of privacy with surrounding acreage vacant/undeveloped land. The view is breathtaking year round and the sunsets are awesome. We are located a short drive from Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. It is an easy drive to nearby Black Mountain, Pisgah Forest and Dupont Forest. Hiking, water sports, snow sports are all accessible from the cabin. Tranquility is the first word that comes to mind when standing on the deck and listening to the sounds of nature…..the sounds of nature as opposed to man-made sounds. Driving up the mountain to the cabin is peaceful in itself. Both sides of the roads are lined with forest and validation that you have chosen the best place for your vacation.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Minimum Stay Requirements:
    Two-night minimum: Jan 5 through May 31 and November 1 through December 20(exception: Thanksgiving).
    Three-night minimum: June 1 through October 31
    Four-night minimum: Thanksgiving week beginning Wednesday through Sunday and Christmas week beginning December 21 through the New Year to January 4.


    Rates:
    $225 per night (2-3 nights)
    $215 per night for 4-6 nights
    $1,395 Weekly (7 nights) and any additional nights $195 beyond the first 7 nights rental.
    $2500 Two Weeks (14 nights)
    $4,500 Monthly (4 weeks)
  • A $400 refundable security deposit is required.
    A processing fee of 2% of the rental base rental amount will be required.

  • The euro-styled pillow-top mattresses are luxurious & the bed linens are high quality & white for cleanliness. Pillow protectors cover the goose down pillows which are hypo-allergenic. We do have a couple of extra non-feather pillows just in case. We have chosen the loft as the master bedroom where the luxurious king size bed sits posed to greet the day either way you look. For convenience, a half bath occupies the loft. The downstairs bedroom boasts a comfy queen size bed & plenty of forest view from the double windows. Both the King & Queen beds have luxurious linens, mattresses & pillows. To sleep in one of these beds is heaven to say the least. In the 3rd bedroom/office, you will find it is not only outfitted with a day bed and pop-up trundle, but it also has a small desk and high speed satellite Internet so you can keep in touch with your office and/or friends if you must. Please bring your laptop and any other tools to make your working vacation the best experience.

Security/Damage Deposit: A security/damage deposit of $400 is required to be paid when making the reservation. All security deposits will be refunded within 2-5 days of departure provided the cabin is left in proper order and undamaged. Renters will be responsible for any damages or theft. This wonderful Asheville cabin at the top of the mountain offered the most incredible, endless view and complete solitude. The furnishings were totally "comfy" and the feel of the cabin was welcoming and warm! The kitchen had every utensil that you could think of and the layout was easy and relaxed. This was truly a haven where one could get away from it all! I will certainly return in the future and look forward to seeing the other seasons at this beautiful retreat!
