Enjoy excellent snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing[commonly known as the best place for sail fishing in the world], sailing, and boating opportunities also. You can spend your days in privacy at the pool or take a $1[10 pesos] cab ride to Playa Norte, which is one of the Caribbeans best beaches.

We stayed at Casa de dias Perdido in April of 2007 and what an awesome experience. There were 8 of us 6 of which were getting either Scuba Certifications or Rescue Diving Certifications. We were able to use the pool for classes and the TV/DVD player for studying. The age range was vast from 14 to 64 and everyone had their own space to read or listen to hip hop without disturbing each other. Each bedroom was comfortable with A/C, cozy beds, and your own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare everything from crepes for breakfast to full steak dinners. One morning from the second deck, I saw a rainbow over Cancun that was just beautiful. The decks are a great way to catch a view and some sun in private.
We rented a Golf Cart for Pepe’s on Hidalgo so transportation into town was easy. Getting a cab is also easy of a fee of 1.50 usd to 2.00 usd. Right around the corner is Baseball Tacos where you can enjoy authentic Mexican/Mayan tacos and a Corona for around $5.00. It’s a short walk to the Caribbean side of the island where shelling is endless as well as the serenity of the Caribbean vista. I highly recommend Casa de dias Perdido as a perfect way for family and friends to get together for a quality hideaway in the middle of it all.
