We had a great time. It met all our expectations--and then some. Had a get-away with my sons, their wives and 2 grand-daughters (4 & 2). The lay-out of the home worked so well for all of us. It's decorated so well, was very clean & well-stocked. Since we only had a week-end, we chose that area because the drive wasn't nearly as far as Minocqua, etc, yet it really had the 'up north' feel. We pretty much stayed at the cottage, but took one run to the Mirror Lake area just because we'd never been there. So, we had brought a lot of food to make right there, which worked out great. It's really close to the Dells, though, if anyone wants to spend time there. Enjoyed the beautiful setting, fire-pit & basketball court. Took advantage of walking in the woods and the path to the river. (Saturday night, we all walked it with flashlights--was really fun!). Mark was awesome to work with & always available to answer any questions & make our stay an enjoyable as possible. Was what we were looking for--a great place to enjoy time together, layed back, yet outside stuff to do. Would definitely recommend the place to others--no matter what the ages or time of year!!
