Scenic, year-round, newly remodeled, 2 bedroom home nestled under the pines. Great for vacationing families or couples. Located on the Great Sacandaga Lake with dock, outdoor fire pit, picnic table, open porches, and nice yard. Conveniences close by include a full service marina (with power boat rentals & general store). NYS campground with sandy beach , boat launch and canoe / kayak rentals. Miniature golf and restaurant only a short walk away. 5 minute drive to Sacandaga golf course and the village of Northville for shopping, groceries, banking, etc. Less than an hour to Saratoga Springs race tracks.

Beautiful lakefront cottage

What a wonderful vacation home! The cottage at the lake is absolutely charming! So clean and nicely decorated. We loved the wood ceilings and the hardwood floors. We brought my Mom with us and the first thing she said as she walked through the front door was "Can I live here forever?" Your beds were extremely comfortable and we absolutely loved the fact that you had a washer and dryer. The loft area is perfect for a teen, as ours claimed it for himself! Our daughter was so happy with the wifi, as she was able to keep in touch with their friends. We loved jumping off the dock and were even happier when our son caught a bass! Of course, we released it back into the Great Sacandaga Lake, but we made sure to take pictures before! The folks on the Hunky Dory were extremely nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Jay's Lakeside. The food was excellent (this coming from us downstate NYers who work in NYC). We felt so at home and thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lakefront cottage! We look forward to going back and making more memories to last a lifetime.

We tried to incorporate things we liked about each of the places we stayed at into our own cottage to give it a cozy Adirondack feel. Romantic Getaway...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin on Sacandaga Lake!
It had all the comforts of home including a gas grill, washer & dryer, fireplace - inside and out and much more! It is decorated with a cozy Adirondack look that added to a very romantic weekend.
We will be bringing the kids back next time. There is a large yard to play in...a dock to fish off of...a miniature golf course right down the road...a marina near by with boat rentals...even a public beach and picnic area!
I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone...a couple or a family.
It was wonderful!
Kudos to the owners. We had a great time! : )
