We chose to purchase a home in Hawaii as it is beautiful place to live and we hope to retire there.
Hawaiian Paradise Park is located 15 minutes outside of Hilo. Our home in Hawaii Paradise Park is surrounded by Ohia and Ironwood trees with the Pacific Ocean a few steps from the property across the street. This is a very quiet and peaceful area with other vacation renters and retirees nearby. Great location for Volcanoes National Park exploring, old town Hilo, surf and swimming spots and the Puna District. Walk to nearby tidepools or stroll the shoreline cliffs. Visit volcano, Botanical gardens, Akaka Falls, Rainbow falls, See large sea turtles at Richardson Bay, swim at hot ponds, visit Lava Tree State Park. Great spot to stay in for the Merry Monarch Festival held in April every year or local music and food fests. You can hear the ocean waves along the shoreline at night or maybe a passing rain shower to lull you to sleep. This area is the best kept secret on the Big Island. Half the amount of rain than Hilo, lots and lots of sunny days! Experience a taste of old Hawaii!
Golf: Golf located all over the Big Island. Beautiful courses both in Kona and in the Hilo side. Rates vary. Golf is alot more reasonable priced on the Hilo side.
