Hilo Vacation Rental house

When you think of Paradise on the Big Island, O'O house is the perfect place to stay. This is a beautiful, comfortable, immaculate and spacious home! This charming Hawaii Paradise Home provides a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. My husband and I were delighted when we arrived and entered this home for our vacation! We loved the cleanliness and the decor too.
This home is equipped with everything you need, including beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, fishing poles and golf clubs. The location was ideal too, close to Hilo, Farmer's Market, hiking trails, and volcano. The Keaau Framer's Market was only a few miles away with fresh vegetables, Hawaiian foods, and goodies. We enjoyed sitting on the front lanai and sipping coffee each morning as we viewed the lovely landscape. We heard the soothing sounds of the ocean, which is only a block away. When you walk outside of the house, turn right, then turn left, and there are trails for hiking or strolls along the ocean shore, very scenic! We visited Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls, Kolekole Beach Park, Panalu'u Black sand beach, and toured volcano. We swam in the hot springs and went diving in Kapoho. We loved Paolo's Cafe, Hilo Bay Cafe, and Ken's House of Pancakes. This home provides the opportunity to relax and enjoy the beauty of old style Hawaii, without large hotels and crowds.
The caretakers on the island were great, very friendly, but did not bother us. We loved the home and we plan on returning next year for more adventure! We recommend this Hawaii Paradise Vacation Home for couples or families that are looking for a great place to stay. Mahalo, Kim & Eric

This property is a true slice of paradise. Very clean and comfortable with everything a family needs for a great vacation. the decor is is simple but elegant , cool breezes and the sounds of nature lull you to sleep each night. The Ocean is within a couple minutes walk down the end of the block and the views of waves crashing on the Lava Rock Shoreline are some of the best on the Island. For those looking for a home away from home on thier vacation you cannot beat it. The care takers are right next door and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderrful .You are treated like friends and niebors. We had a great time and look forward to spending another vacation here.

The house was small but efficient, 2 bathrooms. It had almost everything that we needed. If you need internet, take a lap top or get a visitors state of Hawaii library card to use at library in HIlo. It is Close to ocean, but there is no beach & water is not accessible. Not as clean as I expected. Bad cell phone reception. At least 10,000 frogs at night. Watch out -sheer curtains in bedrooms facing the neighbor/caretakers two story house. Yard is fenced or enclosed all around. Lots of mosquitos. Don't leave food on counter in kitchen- You will get small ants. Hilo's farmers market was good for inexpensive veggies & fruit on Wednesday. Owner is great to work with.
