Review of 92851 Unit
Hi All,
My wife & I as well as her cousin & her husband just returned from Bolongo Bay. The unit was better than I had expected. The pictures do not show the roominess of the condo. There was more than enough of room and storage area for all our items.
The view was nice, but better yet was the constant breeze off the water day and night. We never needed the a/c. One other amenity was the lack of bugs in the unit! On the beach at night sand flies (no-see-ums) come out and bug repellant is necessary. We had none of that in the condo. It was high enough from the beach and the constant offshore breeze kept them away.
Other than breakfast we took all meals out. We did eat mostly at Iggies & The Lobster Bar which had a large assortment of choices. The mushroom caps stuffed with crab meat in a special sauce was my favorite. Should we have desired to eat in, the kitchen was well supplied with stove, refridge, dishes, glasses, pots, etc. We did use the clothes washer & dryer as well as the abundant supply of towels, beach towels, etc.
We did sign up and take the tours advertised at the Bolongo Beach Club at the other end of the beach. They are definatly worth looking into.
