Unique beautifully decorated beach cottage just steps from the path to beautiful white sand beach, 8 miles long. This house feels like much more than a summer rental, with lots of character and charm. Perfect for family vacation, close to many attractions, Maine at it's finest. 2 story home with working fireplace, back deck, nice yard, perfect location.

Come experience an idyllic week at the beach in Pine Point. This beach is perfect for many reasons: great swimming, windsurfing, beach combing, extensive sandbars, fishing off the jetty. The cottage is located in a quaint and quiet neighborhood, just steps from the path to the beach. Spend your days reading and sunbathing, and fall asleep at night to the sounds of the ocean just outside your window. The house has an open layout downstairs with a light breezy feel, and cozy upstairs sleeping quarters. Beautiful back yard and great deck in the shade, front porch with hammock for afternoon snoozes, and all the amenities of home. 20 minutes from the great little city of Portland for added excitement.

Pine Point is a beautiful sleepy village surrounded on three sides by water: peaceful salt marsh, river to the sea, and ocean, with an 8 mile long white sand beach, extensive sand bars at low tide (great for sand dollars!). It is the perfect spot for an unforgettable family vacation. The beach here is considered by many to be the best walking and activity beach in Maine, as well as spectacularly beautiful.

Our family of 6 (4 kids under the age of 10!) was very comfortable and happy in this charming and roomy rental. There was more than enough space, and the kids loved the back yard and porch swing :) A hop, skip and a jump to the beach (which was breathtaking) and the Clambake restaurant (a local favorite), this was an ideal family destination. This home was tidy, roomy and just had a great vibe. And few places on earth are more mellow and welcoming than Pine Point. To say we had a blast would be an understatement!

This is our second year coming to this cottage, and we have throughly enjoyed our time here. The place is nicely decorated, clean, and has a peaceful feeling, especially with the fantastic sea breezes! We found it to be well represented online, the owner was easy to deal with and available, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. The upstairs sleep-in porch was a favorite with the kids, the front porch hammock widely coveted, and the back deck under the maple trees is a sweet spot too. If anything, some of the appliances could be updated, but everything works fine, and the overall charm and comfort of the place make up for that.
