    Security deposit required for rentals. Weekly rental deposit is $850.00, and will be returned upon walk through. Seasonal deposit is 10% of rent.
    End of week housekeeping is deducted from the security deposit, usual rate is $185.00. This amount can increase depending upon the condition of the house upon check out.
    Cable provided is basic family package. Free Internet included.
  • Please note the tax rate is 8.63% and will be added to posted rental rates.

My husband looks forward to this week in August to get away and fish. This is the first house we ever rented in Montauk and it has been the only one for the last 3 years. He drives his boat by water and docks in Gone Fishing Marina right up the road and I go with the kids by car. This house is very spacious. Always clean. The views from the back deck are spectacular. Excellent service from Babs who is the owner. Should you need anything while staying, she is only a phone call away. Beach is located right up the block. Lighthouse is only a few miles away. Town shopping is the best. As we all know the best fish is caught in MONTAUK.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Home Away from Home

Our family had been searching for a summer home and one day came upon the listing for Barbra's home on East Lake Drive. And we are so happy we did!! First of all, the description and pictures do not do the home the credit it deserves. It is a beautiful home, much larger than we expected with a family room that easily entertains 10 people comfortably. The home is clean and has every convenience desired. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed with all the necessary furniture. One of my greatest treats was the incredible water pressure in the shower. The kitchen has all the appliances and were in perfect condition. But I'm not yet finished. There is a deck in the back that overlooks the lake. This deck is amazing. It has a large outdoor table with 8 chairs and even an alcove against the house with chairs and a love seat , for when it rains and in the morning for a real cozy sitting. Relaxing on the deck for breakfast to watch the sunrise and dinner to watch the sunset were very precious times. The home is also close to town, the ocean and many fabulous restaurants, and for golfers, 10 minutes from Montalk Downs.
This is, and will be, for a long time, our 'home away from home'.

Amazing time!

This trip far exceeded all of our expectations. It was the perfect location close to everything. The house was perfect for a young child I didn't have to worry about his safety. We had some bad weather in the beginning of the week but it was still the most perfect vacation because of this house. We cannot wait to come back next year!

My husband, three kids and I have been vacationing in this home since my first son was born in 2002. The location is perfect, close to town and local sites (Montauk Point Lighthouse, Gosman’s Dock) The beach is just a short bike or car ride down the road. Having meals on the deck with views of the lake is just amazing! Peace in quite at its best! Well furnished, fully equipped and spacious – everything you could possibly need or want. This is our “home away from home”!
