More than a century old, this colonial is spacious and comfortable. In 2002, it was totally rewired, repainted and newly furnished. The shaded yard is a pleasant place to barbeque on the grill and relax around the picnic table. Located three miles from downtown Bar Harbor and just a mile from the entrance to Acadia National Park, it has much to offer. There is a path off the rear yard that leads to a circular road through the woods with ocean views - great for strolling, jogging, and a view of an eagle's nest. On the first floor there is a full kitchen with a small table and stools for breakfasting, a full dining room, living room with cable TV and DVD player, full bathroom, small bedroom with queen bed, and an additional shower room. Upstairs there is a half bath, large master bedroom with a king size bed, and a third bedroom with two twin beds. We provide dishes and flatware, pans and utensils, sheets, blankets and towels. There is a washer and dryer in the basement.
