Make this ideally-situated, 2 BR/2.5 BA condo with ocean views your personal retreat from civilization. Great For military families and snow bird long rentals

This wonderfully-appointed, newly renovated vacation condo sleeps as many as 6, has a full kitchen, spacious living and dining area, and all of the amenities you would expect from a luxury beachside escape. Highly flexible sleeping arrangements include two twin beds that can be converted into a king, a queen, and a queen sleeper sofa. Condo comes furnished with side-by-side refrigerator, new oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, cable TV in every room, entertainment center with VCR/DVD, and deck with ocean views.

The master bedroom is furnished with queen size bed and the guest room with two twins that can convert into a king bed. The living room sofa converts to queen sleeper and the love seat to a youth size bed

A pack-n-play and highchair can be made available if needed. Your condo also overlooks one of two available swimming pools.

From your front door, take short stroll through unspoiled dunes as you arrive to find 2 1/2 miles of pristine beaches. Watch dolphins swim just yards away; experience the Loggerhead turtles wading ashore during nesting season (May through October) follow the egrets and herons through the miles of marshland you'll see poolside at the beach club. Keep an eye out for alligators sunning themselves on the OTHER side of the protective marsh fence.

There are plenty of activities for the family as well. Enjoy volleyball, swimming, tennis and shuffleboard at the Harbor Island beach club. A wonderful playgroup adjoins the pool (also kiddie pool) so children can be supervised without leaving the pool deck. A sandwich and gift shop sit atop the club with magnificient views of the marsh and adjacent inlet. The club also has both a fitness center and a cardio room.

Fish, boat, crab or kayak in and around one of Harbor's many lagoons. Enjoy world-class golf on nearby Cat or Fripp Island. Enjoy fresh, local seafood just a stone's throw from the front gate.

Historic Beaufort is also just minutes away. Experience antebellum homes from a horse drawn carriage or take a leisurely stroll through downtown shops and eateries that offer distinct low-country charm. Thank you for working with up on this trip for my son's graduation from Marine Boot Camp. Although we originally planned to stay two nights in a hotel, we decided to rent the beach condo and make it a long weekend! It was a really nice break from the hustle and bustle. The condo was perfect for our needs for 5 people. You had everything there, and it was really easy to stay, and the check out was really easy as well since we had to leave at 3AM to drive home. It make the 18 hour drive from Massachusetts well worth the extra day!! Thanks and we hope we can visit again!

USMC Graduation Trip

My family had a wonderful time at Harbor Island! The home was comfy, the beach was beautiful and the folks on the island were friendly. It was the perfect place to spend time with our new Marine! The owner made sure we had a list of places to visit and to eat and was all around friendly and helpful. Our extended family had decided to stay at a hotel that was closer to Parris Island, but when they came out to visit us on afternoon, they said that they should have stayed on Harbor Island as well...it's worth the extra 10 min drive! We would go back to Palmetto Paradise in a heart beat!

We had a wonderful time! The condo was ideal for a beach stay; complete and clean.
The beach was perfect! Private, safe and secure - and beautiful.
We had nearby activities for the kids, the owner provided great ideas.

Truly Palmetto Paradise!

We just returned from a four night stay, and it was so wonderful! The condo was clean, bright, and well appointed. It had everything we could possibly need, right down to beach chairs and a boogie board! The location is ideal...steps from a pool as well as a short walk over the dunes on a boardwalk, through beautiful sea oats, to get to an unspoiled ocean. Our boys delighted in catching hermit crabs and sand dollars (but then put them all back!), and we loved relaxing as they made sand castle after sand castle. They even got to decorate their bikes and ride in the 4th of July parade! This was a wondeful setting for some family togetherness, and this condo was just the place! You will not find a more gracious and accomodating hostess than Mary. Thank you, Mary and family, for sharing your slice of beach heaven with us!

We had a wonderful experience in booking this condo as well as the week that we had there. The condo is better than the pictures. It is clean, private and very welcoming. Our two young girls had a great time. We have always gone to Seagrove, Fl but due to the oil spill thought we would try another beach. It was wonderful. We saw dolphins most days, hermit crabs, pellicans and to top it off a Logerhead baby turtle being released into the ocean. The 4 of us had a fantastic time and it was perfect for our young family. If you are looking for fun family times this is the place to go. Thanks Mary for all your help. You were a joy to talk with.
