Lots To Do: St. Simons Island is ideal for a relaxing and/or fun-filled active vacation in a great resort area. Take a walk in the park where soft breezes blow fresh from the Atlantic ocean. Watch the ships off in the distance while the beautiful birds and wildlife abound. The oceanfront park has the perfect setting for making memories with the ocean as a backdrop and tables for memorable meals under the live oaks.
Visit the Village, the Island's most historic area. Go fishing off the pier. Tour the cool lighthouse and museum.
Many people ride bicycles while on the island- and you can rent easily- or bring your own. There are bike paths all over the island. If you like golf, there are 18-hole public courses. There is a movie theatre of course. Take a scary ghost walk- hear the tall tales. The restaurants offer some of the finest Southern cooking anywhere in our opinion- and we are Southerners.
Great Restaurants: You'll find plenty of shops and reasonably priced restaurants, many within walking distance- located in the Village. Take home your own treasure from one of the shops.
With a non- refundable pet deposit, we allow well behaved house pets to stay in the condo.
Check-in and out is done locally, right nearby on the Island-- so come on down! You already have some friends awaiting your arrival on the island. Have a great time!!

St. Simons is awesome! One of the very few nice Pet Friendly condos, great location and reasonable prices.
Mr Sparks, just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your condo in St Simons for the first week of June. It was just perfect! We both loved the location on the back of the building because it felt more private and was quieter than the condo where we stayed last year. Thank you for allowing us to stay there.
The unit was everything we expected: comfortable, clean, newly appointed, nicely positioned in the Village, and very accommodating for us (including Misty-our Schnauzer). We can say this after 60 days of enjoyable living.
Ground level for easy access with laundry nearby, we especially liked the adjoining patio.
Ocean Walk is a beautiful setting for staying on the Island and provided us with a comfortable time of relaxation, less than five minutes from the Village and the gorgeous public access beach.
So many "local color" eateries that we did not exhaust our excursions in 8 weeks. Favorites included 4th of May, Barbara Jeans, Crab Trap, CJ's and Iguana, all in the Village.
The rest of the Island provided us with a wide range of resources from restaurants, church, theatre, medical support, shopping, meeting all of our personal needs.
The Island is a treasure of historical significance and we enjoyed exploring, especially Fort Frederica, the Lighthouse and Neptune Park.
Strategically located, St. Simons provides easy access to nearby locations like the fascinations of Jekyll Island.
The owner was helpful and accommodating. In two months, we contacted the manager once because of a burned out light and someone appeared with new bulb within 3 hours.
We would recommend this property without reservation.
My wife and I were greatly satisfied with our week's stay at this unit. It fit our needs perfectly. The unit was clean and comfortable, as well as accommodating all our expectations.
Even on the one day that was somewhat stormy, we did not feel too "closed up inside." The pool was close, as was the laundry.
Our only concern (a very minor concern, at that) was the parking available. There didn't seem to be very many people in the units around us, but there seemed to be limited parking available close to our unit.
We would have no qualms about renting this unit in the future, and plan on returning to St. Simon's on a regular basis.
Stay here. That's all I can say. The condo is as nice as described and as the photos reflect. The owner is awesome to work with. The Ocean Walk complex (or second time staying at the complex) is great with nice amenities, pet friendly and within a 10 minute walk to the village. The beach is only a short 5 minute drive.
We walked to Dinner in the village most every night and enjoyed the convenience and the friendliness of the island. Try Zuzu's for a fantastic burger or Iguana's for excellent fresh caught Georgia shrimp. The Mallory Street Cafe or the 4th of May are excellent choices for Breakfast or Lunch.
Looking forward to our next visit to SSI and another stay at Ocean Walk.
The Georgia East Coast is the perfect location for a fantastic vacation. Our week visit just wasn't long enough to enjoy all the beauty and sites of SSI and the area. Ocean Walk is a lovely resort, our one bedroom condo was perfect, very clean and comfortable. We are making plans to return to this beautiful area, hoping to rent this condo again,it has the best island location. We so enjoyed the Village Pier, strolling the beaches, taking the trolley tour and dining in the area restaurants. Neptune Park is most inviting place, just a great area to relax, visit with others and play mini-golf, too much fun. St. Marys, Jekyll Island and Savannah are all within a short easy drive. We are so happy we found this lovely condo on VRBO. Many thanks to Steve and Julia
My last minute decision to get away for some much needed R & R could not have turned out better. St. Simon's Island did not disappoint, and the condo listing was true to it's word. Ocean Walk is peaceful and well-maintained, and I enjoyed being entertained by the duck's antics during my daily treadmill workout in the workout room. The grounds offer quiet walking trails, a wrap-around porch at the clubhouse filled with rockers and views of the duck pond, and clean, comfortable swimming pools for lazing the day away. The unit itself was cozy, was located in a great location on the property, and offered a home-away-from-home feeling. The Island was beautiful. I enjoyed hanging out at the lighthouse gazebo along the ocean boardwalk area while watching dolphins play about 20 yards away. The beach was clean, calm, and relaxing and only a few minute drive from the condo. The Village is a wonderful place to waste the day away...shopping, restaurants, sites...and is within walking distance from the condo. I highly recommend eating at Barbara Jeans Restaurant...easy southern dining. I also enjoyed coffee and breakfast at the little cafe right behind Parker's. And CJ's Italian Restaurant offered a quaint atmosphere and wonderful pizza. All in all, a great week's getaway for me....just what I needed. I will definitely return to Ocean Walk! Thanks to the kind and gracious owners for helping to make my week special and memorable. :-)
My husband, my baby girl (4-legged) loved the condo. The listing and description of the condo was accurate. The condo was clean and well maintained and stocked with everything you could need or want. Visitors can walk,ride a bike because you are so close to the Village. The owners exhibited excellent customer service. Thanks again!

A New Entertainment Center was just delivered for Summer too!
New bedroom furniture (very nice white four poster bed, dresser/mirror, two nightstands, and a Sealy Backsaver mattress with foam topper). New Durapella, comfortable sleeper sofa in the living area.
