The 'Tip of the Thumb' has many water attractions including; fishing, charter boating, swimming, beach walking, State Parks to name a few. You can just sit on the deck of our cottage and watch the sun set over the lake for very, very relaxing evening. We are located 2.1 miles west of Pt Austin at 1042 BaySide Trail.

Very roomy cottage with open layout. Great view of the lake and nice deck for watching sunsets. Located in a neighborhood setting, with trees all around. Owners friendly and accomodating. Good amenities.

The location was good, scenery beautiful and the cottage was quaint as described. It was very peaceful and we had a great time. The one drawback was the bathroom..While the bathroom was clean, it needs to be updated. Mold and rust around the fixtures is unacceptable.

The view from the house is great, especially at sunset.
There is a staircase that goes down to a deck and to the beach.
The master bed is only a double - too small for two adults.
The tap water needs a filter or something, it has an odor to it.
The owners were wonderful and very accommodating.
Pet friendly too! nice trees for shade and to tie up dogs.
