SAND-N-SANITY DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH IN FORT MORGAN

This is the second year my family has stayed here, and we've enjoyed it thoroughly. The house is exactly as it looks in the pictures, very comfortable, right on the beach with a glorious view of the white sands, the Sand Island lighthouse, and interesting natural gas derricks. You can see both the sunrise and sunset from the deck. The bedrooms are comfy, kitchen lacks nothing--we fixed most of our meals in it and didn't wish for a thing. Our kids loved the loft. Several of them slept up there each night. The owner is very helpful, and I would recommend the house to any one. We enjoyed playing in the water, catching crabs, visiting Fort Morgan, bicycling, taking the ferry to Dauphin Island, and kayaking on the bay (which is so close you can see it from the kitchen window). A wonderful week for us!

Great house and great owners! Two of the four bedrooms with access to the deck & a view of the Gulf are a nice touch. We slept really well with the BR doors open & the sound of water in the background (we were here in the fall when the nighttime temps were perfect). Plenty of covered parking for vehicles & boats. HDTV in the LR and new appliances in the kitchen. We would rent this property again.

We stayed at Sand-n-sanity in June 2011. The owners were helpful and friendly as we made arrangements and quickly answered any questions that we had. The owners have taken excellent photos of the home and the photos accurately depict the interior and exterior. The bedrooms are spacious compared to most rentals we have stayed in previously. Everything was up to date and in excellent working order. The kitchen was somewhat small but had everything needed for cooking, (we ate most of our meals at home) and there was plenty of seating. This home is very child friendly. We have seven children ages one through sixteen and we all had a great time. We saw dolphins almost every day from the deck and even while in the water. The screen porch under the house was fabulous, and was cool and pleasant even in the afternoon. We had a relaxing and wonderful vacation and hope to return again!
