Spacious entertaining area indoors, fenced in yard complete with grill and seating, large grassed yard. Private driveway fits 4 vehicles. Boat launch is available! Short leisurely stroll to the private beach. Centrally located to the North, you are five miles drive from the popular tourist town of 'Lexington', where you will enjoy a multitude of activities. Live entertainment on the beach every Friday night during the summer. Antiques and unique stores and eateries. To the south, you are twelve miles from Fort Gratiot, where you will find a major shopping mall, department stores, super stores and restaurants. The Canadian Border ' The Gateway to Ontario' is only a twenty minute drive via the Blue Water Bridge. There you can visit the Pointe Edward Casino's!

Additional information about rental rates

  • Check in time is 4pm - Check out time is 11am
  • $150 Security Deposit along with 10% of the rental cost is required to hold a reservation. The balance of the rental amount will be due ten days prior to the arrival date. The security deposit will be refunded within ten days of departure if the cottage is left in the same manor in which it was rented. The person making the booking must be 21 or older
  • Cancellation Policy; A full refund will be given if the reservation is cancelled fourteen days or more prior to arrival date. The rental deposit will be forfieted if the cancellation is less than fourteen days notice prior to arrival.

This is a Lovely place, very clean & has just about everything you could need! We had a wonderful weekend, even though we didn't have the greatest weather. Lots of space & the dinning room is a great gathering place for everyone whether your eating dinner, playing games or having your morning coffee. I can definitely see myself returning to the sande lake house. Also Thank you for being pet friendly. Dolly was glad to get to come along! Last but not least Thank you for being such nice people. We had a great time!

Nice Stay

My husband and I had a very nice stay here along with our dog. The house is very quaint and charming and kept very clean. The walk to the beach is not far. The pictures are accurate to what this house is like; it actually is larger than it would seem by the pictures. The fenced in yard was nice for our dog and it was nice grilling and eating outside. We would definitely recommend this house.

What a nice place to stay you guys have thought of everything all we needed was change of clothes, Thank you sooo much for the nice e-mail you sent to guide us to your cottage...the house is so big & clean...I loved the dining room with the big table to sit with my friends & a hot cup of coffee and just be lazy..Ron & Lee Ann
the owners of the property are so sweet...I would stay here again we would love to come back this summer on one of our let's just get away trips..If anyone is looking for a place to stay this is the place....Again Thank you...See you this summer !!!!!

ENCHANTING!!!

Second time around.....this will be our quilt groups second time to this lovely lake house. The dining room is excellent for sewing (accommodating four sewing machines, ironing board, cutting tables, etc). The short walk to the lake is just the remedy for a time out to relax and enjoy the scenery. The kitchen and living room are quaint and charming. The owners provided all the ammenities for a great girls weekend! We can't wait to return again this year. Scrapbookers this could be paradise for you as well...

Nice quiet get away for the family...

For our family of 5, with a big range in ages, this was a nice get away. I would have rated the cottage as excellant had it had a golf cart (for getting to and from the beach) and better air conditioning (the unit in the window was insufficient for the size of the cottage). The walk to the beach was a few blocks, but seemed like a mile when carrying a 2 year old... The beach was very nice and private. We really enjoyed our stay. The kids really enjoyed their stay, even the teenager. The description was accurate. We'd recommend this cottage to other families...
