THE BLACK DIAMOND CHALET-Large luxurious cedar chalet in prestigious gated community. Closest lodging to Mt. Baker ski area.

Large master bedroom, loft overlooking great room features queen bed with ensuite bath and TV with VCR. Main floor features two bedrooms with full beds, main bath with dual shower heads, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, full laundry facilities, great room with gas fireplace and home theater system. The two story glass solarium extends overhead the kitchen nook and master bedroom.

Step outside and 600 sq. ft. of terraced decks lead to an attached gazebo with private hot tub, gas bbq and patio furniture (seasonal).

Gated access to a lovely park-like setting features a large outdoor community swimming pool, tennis courts, children's playground, and other outdoor activities.(seasonal)

First time renting a cabin up at Baker and I'm really glad I picked this one. Hot tub was amazing after shredding and the fireplace was nice as well. If you have two cars figure out how to get another security key or find a code to the open the gate. That was the only pain in the buns. Besides that I felt it was an amazing value and a very nice clean home. I would stay again for sure.

comfortable for 3 people. well-equiped. The bedding was our only real complaint. Pillows, sheets, and blankets weren't very nice. bring your own. The entry is also difficult up a flight of stairs in the snow with all of your belongings. not for the disabled.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Thankyou for your comment although we have never had a comment on it before, we will be rebedding with new comforters, sheets and pillows in the very near future. The entry is on the second floor so when its snowing (which is normally not a lot at this elevation) It can be slippery as in other ski areas.

My kids caught 6 Rainbow Trout from 10-17 inches long in the snowline community pond. loved the childrens playground, swimming pool and hot tub!
