We always have deep water and beautiful views at our Lake Lanier Retreat! Perfect lake location, private dock, gorgeous views, loads of beautiful indoor space. This house's 4000 sq. feet will give you a beach cottage feeling, but the view out the rear windows of striking blue water and a lush undeveloped island will remind you that you are at beautiful Lake Lanier, just a short drive from Metro-Atl. With a large private dock only 50 yards from the backdoor, this house almost insists you come and stay for a week of summer fun on the water. Boasting 6 beautifully decorated bedrooms on three levels, you will find the layout convenient for just your family, an extended reunion, or sharing with friends. Indoor fun is easy in the great room or finished basement with a pool table, ping pong, WI-FI, and large screen TV. Since the house is an easy commute from Atlanta and close to lots of entertainment and shopping. We are now taking reservations, even last minute so email or call today.

Nearest Motorway : GA 400, exit 17 at 7 Miles

Lake Lanier has been the playground to the Metro-Atlanta area for years & this location, only 7 miles off of exit 17 of GA 400, is ideal. Although you are about 30 minutes from the best shopping, restaurants, services, and entertainment, the last few miles will feel like a country drive through hills and valleys, past old churches and barns as you catch glimpses of the lake. Your spot on the lake is so close to big water and yet sheltered on a calm inlet. The area marinas offer boat and jet ski rentals, there is a public boat ramp a mile from the house, and a small beach is across the inlet from your dock. You will be at the doorway of the North GA Mountains which means nature's beauty is a short drive away. If you need to get to the city your drive will be less than an hour. Our neighborhood is quiet and peaceful so it is not well suited to night time parties. On all other counts, our Lake Lanier Retreat truly offers the best of both worlds

  • You will be thrilled to find each spacious bedroom is private, close to a full bathroom, and is decorated to surround you in peacefulness and personality. Your immediate family can be close since 3 of the bedrooms are on the main level, however a little more personal space can be found by moving to the upstairs bedroom or the two on the lower level, all three with great views of the lake. Although we do easily sleep 14 in beds, one of the rooms is empty and we do offer 2 blow up mattresses. Each level has a full bathroom and the master suite features a cathedral ceiling over a luxurious soaking tub. Ceiling fans, and TV's in the master and 2 other bedrooms allow for private relaxation.

Notes: This house is great for entertaining: the kitchen has all the tools for large scale cooking and along with our dining room, there is seating on the deck to take in the lake as well as an extra folding table and chairs for 8 for those larger parties. You are welcome to use our garage and there is parking for 3-4 cars. Downstairs you can play pool or ping pong before taking the one minute walk down the shallow stairs to the U-shaped dock (although you may want to take a break and enjoy the view on either of the porch swings along the way.) We also have some baby toys, a stroller and a highchair to make your packing easier.

The Perfect Weekend

Thanksgiving: Perfect Kitchen, Spectacular Views!

Happy Thanksgiving! Our family hadn't had a chance to all be together for a major holiday in 6 years. We loved your house and the opportunity to all be together. Your kitchen was perfect for our Thanksgiving Feast. The view is spectacular and we had some heated ping pong and pool tournaments. Thanksgiving football on the flatscreen with a crackling fire toped it all off PERFECTLY! Thanks again and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Everyone was happy being with the vamily, 13 of us at a time. We brought our boat, enjoyed the lake and swimming off of the dock. We were even good samaritans one time. a boatload of people were out of gas and we towed them to their dock. It was nice to be able to accommodate all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed your home. Thank you for the memories we'll have of our vacation.
