Family Reunion Home w/ Heated Salt Water Swimming Pool. Central A/C. Free Wi Fi

We stayed at the Dennisport home around the middle of June, 2011. Our family consisted of six adults and eight youngsters ranging in ages from nine to nineteen. We would rate the attractive home and the accommodations as superior in every way. The kitchen was good sized and included all of the dishes, pans and flatware necessary to feed a large group. The large table with ten chairs along with the four bar stools was perfect for our family and allowed us to eat together if we wished. We ate "in" most of the time. We did order already cooked lobsters (excellent) at the local seafood store, and we ate out at Clancy's (also excellent). The six bedrooms and three bathrooms were more than adequate to accommodate our family of fourteen. The spacious of the house was a plus. Two sitting areas--one with TV and other for the adult conversation and/or quiet reading--were helpful Other important features of the home were the large plasma TV with DVD player and the sound system.
The outdoor swimming pool was heated and immaculately clean. It was the favorite activity for the younger children. The teenagers enjoyed the ping pong table.
The Dennisport location was ideally located in the middle of Cape Cod making it easier to access beaches and other points of interest at the Cape. In fact, one day was spent touring historical points of interest in Boston. Another was spent touring the lighthouse and sights in Chatham. We also toured the Kennedy Museum in Hyannisport. The ferry to Nantucket disembarked from Hyannisport as well. We were able to arrive in Nantucket in time for a local tour. We particularly liked the beach at Orleans, but it was a distance from the rental.
The owner provided excellent service. He met us at the location and helped us with explanations for the pool and various appliances. The property was very well maintained. The yard was large and fenced, and the shrubs were beautiful. Everything was well maintained.

We would highly recommend this rental for a family vacation.

My family rented this home from June 4 - 11, 2011 to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. There were 13 of us in total (8 adults and 5 children, ranging in age from 2.5 years to 75 years!). The house accomodated us all wonderfully! The main floor bedroom and bathroom were perfect for my parents, who have some issues climbing stairs.

Conveniently located mid-Cape, the house has lots of large rooms, a wonderful dining area that accomodated our large group, and a ping pong table in the garage that provided evening fun. And the best part...the beautiful grounds including a wonderful, fully fenced back yard and a beautiful pool. It was perfect for the kids to run and play in the yard, and everyone enjoyed the pool every day! The grounds exceeded my expectations! Beautiful and peaceful.

I was worried about the pool not being fenced in, as we had 2 toddlers and a 7 year old in our group, but the owner assured me there was a safety cover on the pool. And it works - my 4 year old tripped and fell on it...worked perfectly.

The owner, Steve, was responsive and easy to get in touch with. Very easy to deal with, and made renting this property a pleasant experience.

There are only three small suggestions that I'd make...a blind over the patio door in the master bedroom upstairs (it gets very bright in there in the morning!), an update to the bedding (comforters and bedspreads, as you bring your own sheets) and pillows would be a good idea, and an update to some of the patio furniture (a few pieces are showing wear). But these are minor.

Overall, a great vacation is a very nice home! Would recommend this house to any large family.

We visited this home at the end of June through 4th of July, 2009. We had 13 people staying (7 adults and 6 kids), and we had a lovely time. The house was huge and the accommodations were perfect. The home was in good condition. The master bedroom was huge. We loved the steam shower. The surround sound was awesome, being help to cook in the kitchen and still listen to the music. Although the weather was in the 70’s, the kids enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool. My son enjoyed playing ping pong with his grandma everyday. The house was so convenient to the beaches and shopping. Our favorite beach was Corporation Beach, about 15 minutes away. Dennisport is located in the middle of Cape Cod, so it was a great location for sight seeing. Steve, the owner, was very attentive to our needs and very professional. We would definitely consider staying again the next time we are in the area. We felt like it was our home away from home. My kids missed the house.
