Luxury Waterfront February Point: adventure DIRECT FROM ATL!!! (GGT code)

We traveled to Exuma in July 2010 and had an amazing time. This villa is absolutely beautiful- very clean and comfortable, great views and wonderfully decorated. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. We grilled out most nights and the patio and outside dock area is great. Owners were more than helpful...gave us lots of tips on what to do and where to go. Also arranged for groceries to be delivered on our arrival. We loved it! Very laid back island with lots of friendly taxi drivers and locals!! Great family vacation and everyone who sees our pictures asks about the house where we stayed. It is that beautiful! Thanks for a fun week. My son got engaged here so it will always be remembered as a very special trip :)

Wow - I’ve never seen an island so beautiful!! What an amazing place!! Our first trip to Exuma, Bahamas –everything was wonderful. February Point is an upscale resort overlooking the Exuma cays, coves and virgin beaches. February Point has a freshwater infinity pool overlooking the water and a fully equipped fitness center. For the golfers in the family – February Point residents have access to the exclusive Greg Norman-designed Golf Club at Emerald Bay. This is an exquisite home! Bright and modern, very tastefully furnished, with an excellent floorplan. The beds were so comfortable! The views from the front & rear balconies were BREATHTAKING! We rented a boat at Minn's Watersports instead of a car, and the house has a private dock behind the villa. You can take the boat into town for groceries, gas, etc and then use it to cruise Elizabeth Harbour for snorkeling, hiking, lying on the beach or hanging out at restaurants on Stocking Island. The villa is a short boat ride over to the Chat & Chill, where you can relax on the magnificent beach enjoying a Goombay Smash and a conch salad. It is so laid back and everyone is very friendly. After a relaxing day of soaking up the sun, we grilled mouth-watering dinners at home and dined on the balcony overlooking the beautiful aqua water. As an added bonus we even got to visit and have our picture taken with the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, who was in town for the Bahamas Regatta, which is an island tradition held every third week in April. Much more than a race, locals put on a huge party in downtown Georgetown where you can sway to the sultry sounds of calypso, reggae and junkanoo. This is the perfect vacation for those wanting to get away from tourist heavy areas and just relax on “Island Time”.

This is a wonderful Villa - we had the best time and were so comfortable. I couldn't believe the view when I walked in and saw the beautiful water from the windows in the living area - it was breathtaking - I ran and got my camera. We have 3 boys and they loved to fish right off the deck (Nassau Groupers & Snappers). You can see sea turtles and sting rays & a shark at night (we even saw a eel) - Great Exuma is the most wonderful place in the world {to Me} and staying at this Villa really is great - you are close to town, you can bring your boat up to the deck to load and unload - you can keep it there or take it to the Marina. The swimming pool is fun, my boys also used the Kaiak, there is a large area in the community safe for walking or jogging with beautiful views and couple of small beaches. But with a boat - it only takes a short time to get to a gorgeous beach all to your self. It has a washer and dryer, so you don't have bring a lot of clothes and you don't have to return home with dirty clothes. The kitchen is great - we made some great dinners, the grocery store is pretty good (you can bring frozen steaks from home) - there are a few liquor stores that have great wine. All the rooms in the villa have wonderful views. You won't be disappointed. Feel free to ask me any questions you have - the owner can get you in touch with me.
