'Your place was beyond our expectations' We hear this quite a lot from people who stay in our condo. We don't have a special closet where we lock away personal possessions. We want you to enjoy our place as much as we do. Think of this as your vacation home away from home with all of the comforts and amenities for you to enjoy. Using our ice chest, beach chairs and snorkel gear, you are set up for a wonderful day on the bay. The unit is decorated with an artistic flare that is Vintage Hawaii. A Hawaiian skirt from the 1930's hanging on the wall is just one of the many special touches.
These units were built in the 1970's. The buildings and grounds are well maintained and clean. There is a shared swimming pool and BBQ area for all of the residents to enjoy.
Located less than a mile from the Napili Plaza (shopping, banking, and restaurants) and just a short stroll to Napili Bay for swimming, and snorkeling with the Sea Turtles. Property brochure is available on request.
This place is just like home. It has everything...great views..only a few blocks away from the BEST snorkleing on the island, the beach is awsome!! It is soooo cute the way it's decorated...very Hawaiian....we will be back.....
Thank you so much for the use of your warm and wonderful condominium. We spent 3 weeks in Paradise from Jan 1st thru the 22nd. It was so quiet in the evenings being away from the highway noise. We loved the Napili beaches and we were so close to the shopping center. It was like home as we were not lacking for anything in your well furnished kitchen and living room. We even left a few puzzles to go along with your assortment of paperbacks. Thanks again.

Spent a month there in December and enjoyed it very much. The one bedroom unit comes with everything that you need for an extended stay, the owners have done a great job of provided whatever you are likely to desire. The unit is cozy, less than 600 sf, but the owners have optimized all of the space with nice furnishings and clever storage.
The unit is about 10 minute walk to Napili Beach in a residential complex, it is not part of a resort. There is a partial ocean view from the lanai and the storage closet off of the lanai offered snorkel gear, boogie boards, misc. beach toys, a small cooler, and fabulous beach chairs for your use.
The living room includes a sofa bed, two chairs, tv and small stereo, games (backgammon, cribbage, scrabble), and some very nice Hawaiiana decor.
The kitchen is small but includes microwave, full range, full refrigerator, every pot and pan that we needed in a month, blender, dishwasher, and all the dishware and silverware you will need. It is very complete. There were various condiments, oils, flour, sugar, etc. in stock on a "replace when you use them up" basis. We found this very convenient as we made many meals at home. There is a small dining table with three chairs adjacent to the kitchen.
The bathroom is small but includes enough storage, tub/shower combo, and all of the paper goods and cleaning goods needed for an extended stay. There is a washer and dryer off of the bathroom that allowed us to pack all of our clothes in a carry-on.
The bedroom is on the end of the unit closest to the parking lot and there is some noise from the nearby road and people leaving for work in the a.m. There is plenty of closet space, a good queen mattress, more nice decor, a dresser, and extra linens and several beach towels. Once again, the owners have anticipated a visitors needs.
Parking is convenient. There are two sets of stairs between parking and unit.
Things you should know. This is a residential neighborhood rather than a resort, normal working people living their lives here. These units were originally built as employee housing for Kapalua and thus are not fancy, although the owners did a good job of softening the edges. The unit would be better suited for two or three than four people. A couple with a child or couple would be fine. It is small and dining table is set for three. Finally, Napili is a great beach and this unit provides walking distance access to Napili and Kapalua at a very reasonable cost.
My husband and I visited Maui for the first time this past June to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The apartment was a big part of our great vacation - the location, nearby Napili beach, everything included in the place - all of this made for an incredibly enjoyable ten days. The building manager was also easily reached and very helpful on a couple of occasions. Thank you Matt and Arleen. Your apartment is quite the find and helped make our summer vacation a very special time. We hope to one day be able to come again!!
My husband and I had a great time at this Napili Ridge condo which is the most well stocked condo we have ever rented. It really seemed more like using a friend's place than renting. The bed is comfortable and, for the first time in a rental, there was a teflon fry pan that wasn't completely scratched.
The pictures accurately reflect the condo and the owners are responsive and helpful. The pool and other public areas are clean and well maintained. The complex was quiet in the evenings and morning. It was also nice to have a reserved parking spot at the unit.
We stayed at Matt & Arleen's condo for 10 nights at the beginning of July 2008. The condo is very tastefully decorated in an Old Hawaii theme, and has all the comforts of home, except a/c. However, we managed to stay reasonably cool by keeping the doors and windows open and using the fans almost 24/7. Our two kids shared the bedroom, and my husband and I got the sofa bed... which became much more comfortable after we bought a foam mattress topper (btw, we left it for the next guest!). Having a full kitchen was very nice, as was the washer and dryer in the unit.
The location is ideal for getting away... Napili Ridge is a residential complex, so there aren't lots of tourist crowds or screaming children, unless you happen to bring them with you like we did!! The condo is about a ten minute walk from the beach, however we found it was easier to drive down the hill with all the beach gear we had to carry. Napili Bay is a great beach for kids of all ages; there are several beachfront hotels/condos, so plan on going early if you want to guarantee yourself a good spot.
Nearby in Napili Plaza, there is a grocery store and an awesome coffee shop; "The Coffee Store" has 24 WiFi internet access besides a good cuppa and delicious sides. The restaurants and shops of Kanapali are only a few minutes drive south; drive about 10 minutes more and you are in Lahaina. Calvary Chapel West Maui holds their services at the Beach Park just north of Lahaina on Sunday mornings.
We had a wonderful time in Maui, and it was largely because we had such a wonderful base of operations... Matt & Arleen, thank you so much for letting us stay in your little piece of paradise!! :)
