'Your place was beyond our expectations' We hear this quite a lot from people who stay in our condo. We don't have a special closet where we lock away personal possessions. We want you to enjoy our place as much as we do. Think of this as your vacation home away from home with all of the comforts and amenities for you to enjoy. Using our ice chest, beach chairs and snorkel gear, you are set up for a wonderful day on the bay. The unit is decorated with an artistic flare that is Vintage Hawaii. A Hawaiian skirt from the 1930's hanging on the wall is just one of the many special touches. These units were built in the 1970's. The buildings and grounds are well maintained and clean. There is a shared swimming pool and BBQ area for all of the residents to enjoy. Located less than a mile from the Napili Plaza (shopping, banking, and restaurants) and just a short stroll to Napili Bay for swimming, and snorkeling with the Sea Turtles. Thank you so much for the use of your warm and wonderful condominium. We spent 3 weeks in Paradise from Jan 1st thru the 22nd. It was so quiet in the evenings being away from the highway noise. We loved the Napili beaches and we were so close to the shopping center. It was like home as we were not lacking for anything in your well furnished kitchen and living room. We even left a few puzzles to go along with your assortment of paperbacks. Thanks again.

My husband and I had a great time at this Napili Ridge condo which is the most well stocked condo we have ever rented. It really seemed more like using a friend's place than renting. The bed is comfortable and, for the first time in a rental, there was a teflon fry pan that wasn't completely scratched.
The pictures accurately reflect the condo and the owners are responsive and helpful. The pool and other public areas are clean and well maintained. The complex was quiet in the evenings and morning. It was also nice to have a reserved parking spot at the unit.

Finally, an affordable piece of paradise!

We stayed at Matt & Arleen's condo for 10 nights at the beginning of July 2008. The condo is very tastefully decorated in an Old Hawaii theme, and has all the comforts of home, except a/c. However, we managed to stay reasonably cool by keeping the doors and windows open and using the fans almost 24/7. Our two kids shared the bedroom, and my husband and I got the sofa bed... which became much more comfortable after we bought a foam mattress topper (btw, we left it for the next guest!). Having a full kitchen was very nice, as was the washer and dryer in the unit.

The location is ideal for getting away... Napili Ridge is a residential complex, so there aren't lots of tourist crowds or screaming children, unless you happen to bring them with you like we did!! The condo is about a ten minute walk from the beach, however we found it was easier to drive down the hill with all the beach gear we had to carry. Napili Bay is a great beach for kids of all ages; there are several beachfront hotels/condos, so plan on going early if you want to guarantee yourself a good spot.

Nearby in Napili Plaza, there is a grocery store and an awesome coffee shop; "The Coffee Store" has 24 WiFi internet access besides a good cuppa and delicious sides. The restaurants and shops of Kanapali are only a few minutes drive south; drive about 10 minutes more and you are in Lahaina. Calvary Chapel West Maui holds their services at the Beach Park just north of Lahaina on Sunday mornings.

We had a wonderful time in Maui, and it was largely because we had such a wonderful base of operations... Matt & Arleen, thank you so much for letting us stay in your little piece of paradise!! :)

Maui Hideaway

We had a wonderful time in Maui. This place has a fun beach within about 3 blocks to walk to. The place was clean and the owner's have attempted to have everything in it that one would need. It's equivalent to about a 3-star hotel. As the owner's stated, it was built in the 1970's. Clean and quaint are the two words that I would use to describe it. The price is great and there is plenty of adventure in Maui. We had a good time.
