This well decorated condo overlooks the city to the Plaza, its Cathedral visible, and beyond to the Santa Fe Mountains. A supermarket and a compliment of shops and restaurants are two blocks away, the famed Plaza another 6 blocks. The Santa Fe Opera is just over the hill, a 10 minute drive; the SF ski area just 16 miles.

Dozens of fine restaurants, a full compliment of those southwestern style, are within a few minutes drive, as well as museums, Indian Ruins, and venues for all sorts of activities: hiking, mountain climbing, etc.; and in the winter, skiing just 16 miles away, and in Taos.

Festivals and fiestas run year around, especially in the summer and fall: Indian and Spanish markets, the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, and Santa Fe Opera, to name but a few.

Canyon Road, with scores of art galleries, as well as those scattered through the city, makes Santa Fe the second largest art market in the country.

PS We have just installed Digital, cable service with Comcast--and a new 32' HD Sony TV.

About Scott

We escape the Texas heat in summer; we seek the mountains and dry coolness of New Mexico winters. And we eat well in every season. We have fallen in love, again and again, with Santa Fe.

Scott purchased this condo in 2006

Why Scott chose Santa Fe

Free, ample parking. Great view! Easy access to all points in and around Santa Fe. Air conditioning in summer. A quiet respite from the hurly burly of the Plaza after a full day eating and shopping.

What makes this condo unique

Santa Fe has more culture than a dozen cities many times its size

Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5
I just returned from a visit to Santa Fe where my older parents and I stayed in this condo. The condo was beautifully decorated in Santa Fe style and was very comfortable. This condo was perfect for older visitors - the elevator loads within a few steps of the front door and the parking is within a few more steps. There was handicapped accessibility and the parking lot was well lit and felt very safe. Even my little dog had a nice yard of grass downstairs to do her business.
The condo was very clean, well maintained and stocked with appliances, kitchen accessories, linens, cleaning needs,etc... anything one would need to have a comfortable stay. Other than clothes and personal items, there was nothing we really needed to bring.
The condo was well situated in town to have easy car access to downtown shopping, casinos, the ski area and restaurants. The owners were really friendly and easy to work with. There were no negative "surprises"... in fact, the pictures don't really do the place justice. It's a very cute and comfortable place to stay.
Thanks, Scott, for your assistance in our stay.

Terrific location, very accessible property

  • 4 of 5
Our youngest child has significant ambulation issues which informs every decision I make about where we can stay. I have to say the people with whom I spoke could not have been more receptive and helpful in describing this property, and I am very appreciative. They helped me make the perfect choice, which was staying here!
There is a smooth walk from the parking lot to the elevator, and the condo's front door is down another smooth walk from the elevator; the condo itself is one level with an open concept, and this made it possible for our youngest child to have as much independence as possible. We loved it!
We spent only a little time in Santa Fe for this trip (Int'l Folk Art Market), spending more time up in Los Alamos and Bandelier, and the location of this condo was perfect for everything. We could easily pop into downtown Santa Fe (the plaza), to Museum Hill, to the grocers, to Alto Park to play (soccer field and play equipment), or up the freeway to Camel Rock and beyond. It was really, really convenient.
I have to say, I think this place has great bang for the buck!

Very comfortable! This is our first visit to Santa Fe and we found the city to be beautiful. We also explored the Los Alamos area with our two teens and two dachshunds. The condo has lots of area travel information that helped us plan our visit. Being from the south we usually spend our summers on Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula. This has been a welcome treat. Thank you!

A beautiful condo in a great location to all the things we visited. Very quiet, well maintained - and nicely furnished. We loved all the art work and wall hangings. Thank you and I hope to return again some day.
