This is not your typical rental unit. This is our personal unit which we have owned for 5 years and only began to rent out this year (Our teenagers don't like to go as often as we do). When the unit is not occupied by renters such as yourself, we are there. So we insure that the cleanliness and upkeep of the unit is regularly maintained. You will not find a nice, cleaner unit than this.

Five of my closest friends and I had one of the best vacations we've ever had in this rental unit in S.Padre. It was everything we were promised, and more. Clark, the owner of the condo, gave us information on where to go for food, and entertainment. Breakfast at Manuels in Port Isabel is a MUST. Also a must, the blackened fish tacos at Dirty Al's.The best raw oysters I have ever had are definatly at Daddy's. Everyone we met anywhere was friendly and accomodating. If you go to, tell Tabitha at Al's or Ethan at Daddy's that "Those Girls From Detroit" recommended you go there. We are already planning our trip back there next year and can't wait !!!!!!

Nice location right on the beach!

This condo was located right on the beach which we loved. The owner made available to us a closetful of beach equipment (sand toys, chairs, umbrella, towels) which was very convenient since we didn't have to bring all that stuff with us. The unit was spacious and clean and had a great balcony overlooking the beach. Although the dryer wasn't working when we arrived, when I contacted the owner he sent someone out the next day to fix it -- very responsive! If you are thinking about renting this unit, be sure to check with the owner to make sure repair work on the building has been completed before you rent. Otherwise, the unit itself was fine -- a good deal for the price considering it's right on the beach.

Beautiful Beach, Awesome View!

My family stayed at Padre Paradise in early July. The condo was great! Very clean and neat as was the property itself. Lots of nautical decor to enjoy besides the spectacular view. There were even extra beach towels which come in handy if you've flown in.
The beach was absolutely georgeous, even after a big flooding rain the week before. The water was crystal clear...nothing like Port A. I have been to both places and in South Padre, we have consistently enjoyed the beautiful water. We also walked to the Sheraton daily for a yummy frozen drink. The kids really enjoyed the virgin mango pina coladas. We also went para-sailing. But mostly we enjoyed staying on the beach playing frisbee, building sand castles and hanging out watching and listening to that beautiful sound.
We enoyed eating at Margaritas Mexican restaurant. Most times we stayed in and enjoyed the beach as long as we could!

Great Complex & Amazing Views!

We had a wonderful time staying in this condo. The views of the beach are great. Beautiful sunrises and a great wrap around balcony to hang out on. The complex & condo were well maintained and the visible night security was a plus. The pool was large,clean and very kid friendly. No seagulls swooping in. The owners were great to work with and we will recommend this to all of our friends for an enjoyable stay in South Padre.

Awesome View!!!

This place was perfect. The view of the beach (like the picture) is from the kitchen looking out - what it doesn't show you is that to the right is another whole wall of windows that go around the corner and is the master bedroom! The water in South Padre was crystal clear - you could see straight down to your feet, no seaweed, no gross oil on the beach - it was great! This is a nice place to stay - the pool is great, hot tub, it's quiet and gated, you can hang out on the combed beach out front or walk up to the Holiday Inn or Sheraton and order something from the bar - they asked us for our room number, I told them I wasn't staying there and they were okay with that - just getting a drink and walking back down the beach. Great condo - everything you need.
