Eastham House

The Internet description of the house was accurate in describing the layout and sleeping arrangements of the house and the deck and shaded yard. The house was clean (and easy to keep clean with a broom as the floors are linoleum or tile). The appliances were in good working order. Cable TV was available as was wireless Internet access.
Communication with the owner was excellent. He was prompt about replying to emails and the contract came when promised.
With space for 10 people and 2 bathrooms, the house is a good choice for large groups. It is on a very quiet side street and quite private with plenty of space for parking several cars. It is within biking distance of the Cape Cod Rail Trail and the bay beach. It is within easy driving distance of Nauset Light Beach, Marconi Beach, and Coast Guard Beach. Provincetown is a short trip away, too, and worth the visit. The Cape Cod baseball league has games nearby almost every night. It's fun to sit in the stands and see players up close. We also went on a seal watch in Chatham and saw over a hundred seals in the water right by the boat. The Wellfleet Drive-In is just up the road along with an indoor cinema.
For eating, two favorites were Arnold's and Cook's. Arnold's also has an excellent miniature golf course. For food shopping, there is a Super Stop and Shop about 20 minutes away.
I would definitely recommend this property to a friend. It was comfortable, quiet, and relaxing, yet close enough to activities and restaurants.
