Fun Family Spot

This was a perfect spot for our vacation! There was plenty of room for the three of us, was close enough to DC and Annapolis to do plenty of sightseeing, but far enough away to be restful.
The town is small and most businesses are geared toward visitors, with several gifty shops, small restaurants, etc. Everyone we met there was friendly. The cottage is within blocks of the beach but, unlike the West Coast, it's not a free public beach--none in the area were that we saw.
The house is an older house, quaint and well-kept with beach themed decor. This is not a fancy hotel, but someone's beloved beach house. The amenities of the house were nice--dishwasher, washer/dryer, a/c, multiple televisions and no phone to interrupt the peace, plenty of places to sit and relax. The deck and tiki bar out back are also nice places to play. Our pre-teen daughter loved the fact that there was a wireless connection.
The owner and her son are really nice! Her son stayed at the house to wait for our arrival (2+ hours late because we didn't know traffic.)The owner made several phone calls to be sure we were having a nice stay.
I would definitely recommend this cottage, especially to families that enjoy a homey style of accommodations.
