Fun Family Spot

This was a perfect spot for our vacation! There was plenty of room for the three of us, was close enough to DC and Annapolis to do plenty of sightseeing, but far enough away to be restful.

The town is small and most businesses are geared toward visitors, with several gifty shops, small restaurants, etc. Everyone we met there was friendly. The cottage is within blocks of the beach but, unlike the West Coast, it's not a free public beach--none in the area were that we saw.

The house is an older house, quaint and well-kept with beach themed decor. This is not a fancy hotel, but someone's beloved beach house. The amenities of the house were nice--dishwasher, washer/dryer, a/c, multiple televisions and no phone to interrupt the peace, plenty of places to sit and relax.The deck and tiki bar out back are also nice places to play. Our pre-teen daughter loved the fact that there was a wireless connection.

The owner and her son are really nice! Her son stayed at the house to wait for our arrival (2+ hours late because we didn't know traffic.)The owner made several phone calls to be sure we were having a nice stay.

I would definitely recommend this cottage, especially to families that enjoy a homey style of accommodations.

The house and community are very nice. Everything is within walking distance and it is relaxing and quiet at night. The boardwalk and pier were wonderful at night.

Great owner!

My husband and I were looking for a getaway over the July 4th holiday weekend. It was amazing we found this home and it was available. The owner Laura was so accomodating. I would describe the home as a cozy beach cottage. Beach decor throughout. The house was stocked with everything you would need. We walked to just about everything. Our dog loved the fenced yard. Great home and great owner!

We loved North Beach and our stay at this delightful beach cottage. The cottage was nice and clean and completely equipped with everything we needed. The house is decorated with lots of lighthouses. The kids played a game trying to count how many there were! The beach was in walking distance with quant interesting shops and nice restaurants. Having the hot tub was great after a long day at the beach! We will definitely return.

Reconsider, everything! My family and I did not like this rental property, nor the location at North Beach. When we arrived the rental property was not cleaned. Dirty dishes in the sink along with a dishwaher full of dishes, coffee pot crusted with coffee, hair in and on the tub and toliet, floors has grass and dirt on them (obviously not vacumed), baby ants on the table the first night we where there, personal items in the bathroom and bedroom, there is no shelf or closet space for your items (so pack lightly), and you'll feel better if you take your own sheets. The owner did return our fee for cleaning, which was fair. Your neighbors will like to play basketball outside the master bedroom at 2:00 a.m. The closest beach you must pay to get on. Best features are, anything you can drive to. Calvert Cliffs, Sharks tooth Beach, National Zoo.
