Lakefront Cottage, spectacular views, 40' deep water dock, multiple decks

I rented this cottage during Laconia Bike Week 2010 (June 11th - June 19th) for myself and four of my friends. The location was absolutely perfect for our stay. It was only a short, scenic ride to Weirs beach, yet it was far enough away that we could completely remove ourselves from the crowds when we wished. In fact going from the cottage to the Weirs we encountered NO TRAFFIC the entire week. Quite a feat during bike week. We found the cottage to be exactly as described and Mr. and Mrs. Hilson's customer service was second to none. The cottage was clean, well furnished and completely ready for our arrival. Right down to a full gas bottle on the grill, the cottage was in complete move in condition. The surrounding area was not only beautiful but blissfully quiet. The area was completely deserted during the week and there were only a few people in the surrounding cottages on the weekends. Sitting on the porch or the dock enjoying a meal or tasty beverage, we felt as if we had the entire end of the lake to ourselves. Mr. and Mrs. Hilson's communications were also excellent and they were very accommodating for us. There were absolutely no surprises, every last detail was mapped out for us and I was very glad to have trusted my vacation accommodations to them. They even went as far as to arrange parking for our trailer with one of their neighbors. There honestly is not a single bad thing that I can say about my rental experience. My only regret the entire week was packing to leave. I would whole heartedly recommend this property to anyone looking for a New Hampshire lakeside getaway. I fully intend on renting from Mr. and Mrs. Hilson again . . . . . . Just as soon as I can.
