This cabin had everything our family needed. The kitchen offered the basic neccessary items, washer and dryer and nicely decorated rooms. We were able to sight see, gold mine, hike the Kenai wildlife refuges, fish halibut and king salmon successfully. We highly recommend the "Keeneye The Fish Guy" for fishing. He has lived in the area for over 20 years and is located locally. Very nice and patient if fishing for the first time and very knowledgeable regarding all the good spots if you have been fishing all your life.
Soldotna is a quick drive from the cabin and the city of Kenai is just a few miles further. The cabin is very cute, clean and well maintained. Our large family had all we needed. We never seen any moose by the cabin, but we knew momma and baby had been there, their tracks were left behind. Moose are everywhere on the Sterling Hwy, mainly in the evening and early morning hours. The owner was very helpful and informative. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.
