BODEGA BAY - ROMANTIC RETREAT WITH OCEAN VIEW AND HOT TUB

My husband and I and our dog stayed at Windsong over a long weekend. We enjoyed our stay so much- the house was beautiful and the view from the house was wonderful. I was especially impressed with how the owners had thought of every little thing to make our stay comfortable- books, games, etc.
I would highly recommend this as a getaway for families with pets. Also- followed the recommendations for clam chowder at Spud Point and it was worth the drive over. Thank you so much for the use of your home.

Windsong House is everything they say it is - and more. The pictures can not capture the happiness we experienced as our family gathered for Easter holiday. Each and every room is both comfortable and luxurious, extremely well equipped and well thought out. We loved the spacious rooms, the comfortable bedrooms, the upscale linens, the comfy quilts and blankets. The kitchen was large and modern, well equipped - right down to every spice imaginable. The bathrooms clean and quite amazing. It was so perfect we could not decide to be inside - enjoying the warmth of the sunroom and large TV or outside - enjoying the tranquility of the golf course and the ocean views. From our patio we were able to watch our sons kite-boarding down in Bodega Bay. Two trips to the Tides Restaurant: One for a fabulous fish dinner, the 2nd for a fabulous lemon meringue pie for Easter Sunday. In the (hot) hot tub family members were able to bond in a way I will be forever thankful to Windsong House. Memories were made here........

We are from the Netherlands and stayed here for one week during Christmas time to spend some time with our daughter who stays in San Francisco for a study year . We arrived in the evening, it was raining very hard and it was dark so we were glad with the advise that Robert gave us to take a flashlight with us. It was also very thoughtful to leave some lights in the house on.

As you can read in many of the reviews Windsong is a lovely house and is very well-equipped. I even managed to bake a Dutch Apple Pie! Also the fireplaces is very nice and we loved – although the weather was not that good – taking a walk on the beach. We did most of the groceries in Sebastopol, a nice town nearby. The surrounding area is beautiful. It’s quite a trip but we visited San Francisco three times.

When the hot tub wasn’t working due to a short circuit, the owners immediately responded to our e-mails and finally we got it working again.

Just like other reviewers we definitely would recommend this property!
