Fort Lauderdale Vacation Rental house

Our family (me, my husband, son, sister and her husband) found this location on line. Upon arriving in FL we were all very skeptical about finding it the way it was presented in the photos, we were gladly surprised to find it was well presented. The photo's of the yard are exactly what you find when you arrive. Upon arrival there were robes with chocolates on our beds (even one for my 13 year old son), we found snacks and beverages available so we did not have to immediately leave and could relax after our flight before heading out again. This was the type of hospitality we found from the owner all week; he was there in the morning turning the soothing music on and making sure the waterfall/pool area was as it needed to be for the day, checking the hot tub to make sure it was working properly, just making sure things were as we wanted. It was very nice.

The open back yard, the pool, hammock area, the flowers, palm trees, all of it is what makes this property where you want to stay. Once in the pool you find that you never want to move out of the waterfall bench and we spent many hours just lying in the pool relaxing.

One of the negatives that we had with the facility was that we did not find that it was within walking distance to the beach. The neighboring area and the distance did not make it something you would want to venture out for an early morning or evening stroll to the beach (which is something we all enjoy and looked forward too). However, the beach is very accessible by vehicle and the parking was not overly expensive.

The facility is a two home complex. We were blessed with good neighbors in the home next to us (2 women 1 man) who were very nice and we enjoyed meeting. A downfall to this location would be if you had neighbors that you did not get along with or had different opinions with. It is definately not like a hotel where if you see something you disagree with you can walk away, go back to your room and not see that individual or group again. So you must have an open mind and realize that this is a shared backyard paradise prior to booking.

Overall, everyone in our family enjoyed this trip. The owner was very hospitable, the home was very nice and clean, and the back yard was a paradise.
