This pair of beautiful Nantucket properties, house and cottage, are about 100 feet apart and just a 5 minute walk from the beach, a perfect fit for families with kids who might want to do several short trips to the beach each day rather than one long day. The Surfside area has Nantucket's most beautiful and swimmable beaches, and if you prefer a lifeguarded beach the Town Beach is only a short drive away. Rent Bent Pines and Little Pines together, on a weekly basis, as a compound for family reunions, 'big chill' friends' reunions or company retreats. The homes are warm and fun - decorated in bright and cheery Nantucket blues and yellows. Each home may also be rented separately (see Homeaway listings #191345 and #191355).

The Stop-n-Shop grocery store on the island is one of the largest in the world, is open 24 hours a day during summer and carries every possible ingredient and fresh food you could dream of combining into that special dish you've always wanted to make but just never had the time. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided. We have a good selection of games and books in each house, and we encourage you to rotate the library by taking some of ours and leaving some of yours for others to read. There are combination DVD/VCR players and a single TV in each house, with cable service and wireless Internet access if you want to bring a laptop to check email.
