Lovely decorator fully furnished residential condominium with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths plus a loft in gated development.
DESCRIPTION: Aloha! Spend your holiday, winter trip or working vacation on the Big Island at Alii Cove, Kona’s newest luxury condominium complex, only fifteen minutes from the airport, a five minute walk from Kailua-Kona town, and across the street from Honl Beach.
Alii Cove includes a waterfall pool, spa, children’s wading pond, play area, BBQ, fitness center, covered parking and lovely landscaping throughout.
Alii Cove in Kailua-Kona has it all as a vacation spot or off-shore office, and you will need several weeks to enjoy all the Big Island has to offer. Because Kona is on the leeward (dry) coast, all beach activities are year-round, great conditions almost every day, and within walking distance or a 15min drive. Longer drives will take you north to the Kohala coast, the Waipio Valley, the Parker Ranch country, the eastern rain forests, Hilo, Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea observatories, the south coast beaches, the Captain Cook historic site, and native Hawaiian cultural sites all around the island.
Our unit is in the KK building. From our lanai you have clear views of the Pacific and Kailua Bay, all the better to sip your drink and watch the sun set, the cruise ships, the fishing boats and the water sports. From our loft, which is a combined office and spare bedroom, you have even clearer views out the Pacific; I’ve watched dolphins and whales during telephone calls! In the morning, from the loft, watch the sun rise over Hualalai, the mountain above Kailua whose slopes are home to the coffee plantations. Because KK it is directly above a heiau (a holy rectangle containing native Hawaiian artifacts), we have an unobstructed line of sight to the Honl beach surf; you go to sleep with the sounds of the waves. Finally, KK is near the back entrance of Alii Cove (Walua Road), so you can avoid the traffic on Alii Drive when driving to your shopping or next adventure.
This condo has a master suite/bath on the Pacific side, another bedroom on the Hualalai mountain side, gourmet kitchen and dining area, living and entertainment room, washer/dryer, another full bathroom, pantry, large closets, and a loft that we have set up as an office and extra bedroom. Carefully decorated and furnished, we enjoy the best and assume you do too.
There is a 30 day minimum stay at Alii Cove. Come stay with us for the best luxury value on the island and a visit you will never forget.
We offer very reasonable rates. Ask for our unlisted spring/summer specials.

I love the Big Island for its open space, variety of microclimates, the hundreds of parks & beaches and the aloha spirit of everyone that you will meet.
I am sometimes lucky enough to work at our Big Island getaway -- the world's best telecommute.
Alii Cove properties are sought after for vacationers because of the location and pool/fitness area. It's not easy to find something here during the busy season. We have stayed in this complex at different condos for the past eight years, having stayed next door to this one several years back. We were lucky to secure this condo due to a cancellation and booked it in November, which is late if you are looking for something in this complex. Bear in mind, rentals here and at the sister location just down the road are 30 day rentals. This (and the one next door 299608) are by far the nicest equipped and best stocked we have stayed at. This condo, in addition to a well stocked kitchen, had a bike, snorkel equipment for two or more, three boogie boards, six beach chairs and more. Interactions with the owners and property manager were also exceptional and they were easy ti work with.
We came out to see my bro do the Kona IronMan and stayed on for a fortnight afterwards. The IronMan was brill! The condo is superbly located, just past the Huggo's on Alii Drive - which means within easy reach of great coffee and breakfast places and super bars and restaurants.
the local beach is good but just a little way south is Kahaluu beach which is terrific for easy snorkeling - little turtle, water about 10 feet deep. Further south (by car) is the Place of Refuge which is where we hung out daily for the best snorkeling ever! Loads of fish, eels and if you're lucky spinner dolphins and water from 30 to 50 feet.
We also used the condo as a base for travelling all around the island.
The condo is very well appointed - great beds - king sized and exceedingly comfy. I'd highly recommend you pay a visit - you won't be disappointed
My husband and I just got back from a wonderful
stay for the past month in this unit. Very
comfortable memory foam king bed, top of the line
small appliances in kitchen, fabulous view of the
waves crashing on the beach, watching the surfers,
and the gorgeous sunsets. I highly recommend
renting this unit as a romantic escape in paradise.
Volcano National Park 96 miles south of Kona. Mauna Kea observatory to the north. Dozens of parks & beaches. Local artist colonies. Travel guides in office bookcase.
