Your Home away from Home! Falcon Ridge is a beautifully decorated non-smoking home and is located in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. This secluded and private getaway is only 5 Minutes from Ghost Town in the sky, 45 minutes from The Biltmore Mansion, 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes from Cherokee and Harrah's Casino. Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, as well as Gatlinburg are within an hour's drive away.

Great restaurants, antiquing, fishing, hiking, golfing, shopping, rafting, canoeing, birdwatching and enjoying everything the beautiful Smoky Mountains has to offer. Falcon Ridge is located 3900 feet up on the side of the mountain immediately across from Ghost Town and Cataloochee Ski Lodge Resort. Total relaxation in rocking chairs as you look out from one of two private decks at the panoramic view of 10 surrounding mountains, or look over the peaceful valley below.

Tubing and whitewater rafting: Tubing is wonderful in the crisp mountain waters and whitewater rafting for the novice as well as the experienced is nearby. You choose the challenge. Fishing is abundant with fresh mountain trout at every turn in the streams, Cherokee reservation and nearby lakes and rivers.

ELK: Visit Cataloochee at dusk for a fantastic treat of wildlife and see the elk grazing alongside your car. You may glimpse a red fox or a multitude of birds and wild turkeys. Bring your camera for an experience you won't soon forget.

Golf:

So many great mountain golf courses within a very short drive will force you to challenge yourself more with every stroke. If your golf game goes sour, you can easily look around and up and forget all about it by looking at the beautiful surroundings. The views from the courses are breathtaking. They will be waiting for you with a very wet adult beverage to enjoy and the food at the end of your round is all it should be . Maggie Valley Country Club, Laurel Ridge, Springdale,Lake Junuluska, and so many more are excellent and nearby but these are only the beginning. I know you will enjoy them all.

Peaceful setting with incredible view!

My husband and I (along with our Chihuahua) stayed at Falcon Ridge August 8-15, 2009. We absolutely loved it! The cabin was beautiful and had all the essentials of home. The view was incredible, especially from the hot tub. We enjoyed grilling out on the balcony and saw all types of wildlife including wild turkeys! The owners also called to check on us and the status of the cabin upon our arrival to ensure that we were satisfied and didn't have any questions or concerns. The cabin was also located close to several attractions: Ghost Town, Cherokee, Wayensville, and several wonderful restaurants,. We would highly recommend this cabin and plan on vacationing here again in the future!

We VERY MUCH enjoyed our stay at Falcon Ridge!! The cabin was BEAUTIFUL, the view from the deck was BREATHTAKING, and everything was PERFECT!! We've been vacationing in Maggie Valley for many years, and we now have a new favorite place to stay!!

NC visit

The house was excellent, clean and well maintained.The listing photos accurately reflected the house's appeareance The view was spectacular of the whole valley and the mountains beyond. Parking is tight, not really for more than two vehicles. Robin Roost Road is very difficult to drive and is generally in poor condition. Fireplace is excellent with a very good collection of good firewood. On the day of our arrival and through our own inefficiency we found it difficult to operate the TV--we called the owner who was most helpful in all respects. The TV system is first class.
We would certainly recommend the property to friends

Wonderful

We really had a good time. Everything was so nice and comfortable. The view was beautiful. The grandchildern really enjoyed their stay. We ate on the deck every evening, just enjoying the birds, the view and being outdoors.

Beautiful

We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our meals on the deck. The view was out of this world. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. The only thing i did not enjoy was the drive up to the house.
