As you see from the pictures the sun is welcomed through many sliders and windows. Inside the furnishings are simple but well chosen . The kitchen is fully equipped. The merged living/dining room with hardwood floors has a cathedral ceiling with overhead fans. Also downstairs there is a full bath, washer/dryer, and two bedrooms each offering a pair of twins. This Edgartown contemporary is a good find: located near the bike path, on a private road with only a dozen other homes, a third of a mile from shopping, a mile or so to the village center, a mile plus to five miles of beach on the Vineyard's north coast. Outside there is a wrap around deck and another larger deck on the south side totaling 600 sq ft. There are sufficient trees to afford privacy but not to block the sun. Upstairs there is a bath with shower, a bedroom with a queen size bed and a slider to a small balcony and a enclosed loft room with a twin size bed. This is an inviting home.

The house was just right for our family of 5 (parents, 2 adult children and one teenager). Location was very convenient to Edgartown and pleasantly bikeable to beaches, Vineyard Haven and up-island. The property was well maintained. The owners were accessible and provided answers to our questions. While we were out and about during the day, the house was comfortable for making dinner in (which we did most evenings) and playing games, reading books, or watching movies in the evening. We loved the MV Book Festival, Aquinnah and Chappy beaches, yoga on the beach, Farmers Market and Crafts Fair in W Tisbury and poking around Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
