Swim platform, boats to rent, fish, water ski. Silver Lake is an all sports lake, rent a pontoon boat or jet ski, row boat, or canoe, free firewood, laundry, & DVD'S, bikes available for rent, basket ball, horse shoes, Volleyball net in the water! {fun} Go cart racing in down town Silver Lake, {within easy walking distance} bumper boats, miniature golf, restaurants, ice cream stores, trout ponds, Dune Rides, or rent an ATV, the perfect family get away, {something for everyone} Antiquing, Pentwater downtown has cool small eateries, bars, and shopping. Lake Michigan is just 5 minutes away with two large expanses of beach, one is Little Sable light house State Park beach, the other is a public township park-- this one has the channel from Silver Lake.

Love this cottage!

My family likes cottages without all the frills but good basics and this cottage has terrific basics. The morning coffee overlooking the lake is something to look forward to and the evening glass of wine watching the sun go down over the dunes is bliss. The landlord, Uncle Bob, is awesome -- make sure you ask about the Pirate's Treasure. Go over to the dunes and make a day of it. Pack suntan lotion, lots of towels and books. This is a nice little cottage and we will definitely be back!!
