Fort Morgan Vacation Rental condo

We stayed in this condo for 4 days this year for Spring Break. (March 2009) It was wonderful. The condo is clean, nicely decorated and had anything we could possibly need. The location of the condo on the property was great, walkway to the beach is at the end of the hallway. The pools were very pretty although it was a little too cool for us to use. The beach and the access were great! Not crowded, beautiful sand dunes. We will definitely be back. The complex is gated and we felt very safe. There is a convenience store with nice choices for a quick breakfast or lunch. We can't say enough good things about our trip. It was about 20-30 minute drive into Gulf Shores, but for the privacy on the beach and being away from the crowds- it was not a problem at all. Thanks to the Flannigans for sharing their wonderful home with us.

The condo is very nice, great to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Love the Fort Morgan area. Tacky Jacks is a good place to eat. Pizza at the cafe on location is really good too.

We are 5 "old" (50ish) college roommates/friends who take a trip together every year and this year we decided on Gulf Shores. As we were looking for places to stay, Fort Morgan popped up....and we are so glad it did! We had a great time and the condo was fantastic! The condo is clean and nicely decorated. Everything that you could possibly need was provided (washer/dryer, towels, sheets, and all kitchen supplies including dishes/glasses/utensils) The owner was very accommodating. He always answered our questions and emails and was always kind. He sent directions to the property as well as provided names of local places to eat. We basically "moved in" for the week and had a great time. The weather was perfect the whole week...no rain, just hot, sunny skies. We had jellyfish one day, but that goes with the territory...no problem, we went shopping and came back later and spent the rest of the day at the pool!
This condo community is very much a family-oriented place, which we were very pleased with. All of the restaurants that the owner recommended were great and we ventured into Gulf Shores to try a few more. The drive into Gulf Shores is very quick and it was always nice to come back to our "home". I would highly recommend this property to my friends and we will definately plan to return in the future.
Another plus is internet accessibility. Unfortunately, my computer chose to crash on this trip, so I had to go to the local library to begin an on-line class...they were very nice as well and the library is very close.
