This 5 bedroom home is in the heart of the Pocono Mountains and only minutes away from year-round activities including skiing, water sports, golf, casinos, historical sites, fun parks and much much more. This 3 level home comfortably sleeps 16. The key features of this home are a sweeping cathedral ceiling, wood-burning fireplace, outdoor hottub, barbeque, private beach and rowboat. There are breathtaking views from the 700 ft square foot deck overlooking the 100 acre lake, as well as from the 8 1/2ft Dining Room table, loft, the dock, and the screened in porch. This property is in a gated community on Big Bass Lake. You’ll be within a 3/8 mile walk to the family picnic area and private beach. The community has many amenities, including a huge swimming pool.

I rented the house for 3 nights as well and my friends and I had an amazing time. Everything was perfect, better than we imagined! The scenery is just breath taking, specially in the morning. The night we arrived the house was nice and warm, well organized and extremely clean. We were all so excited we didn't know what to do with ourselves! We ended up downstairs in the play room, watching movies, playing air hockey and playing pool. We went to sleep at 6 in the morning. All the bedrooms were all so cozy, the beds were comfortable. Though the temperature was at about 30 degrees or so, some of us went in the hot tub!!! It was so much fun! This was meant to be a relaxing getaway and it sure was. We would most definitely rent this house again and we are hoping to do so next year. We have rented other houses in the past but this has been by far the best!

Memorial Day '09

Rented the Lake House over Memorial day weekend. Easy to get to from NYC or Philly. Wonderfully stocked and everything one could need or desire is there. The seclusion and locale could not have been more perfect. To be able to sit on the deck or the dock each night and watch the sun set over the placid lake was truly magical. I had made a plan that for my 40th birthday I would rent a home that would give friends and family a place to relax, enjoy and play. This Big Bass Lake home was that and more. Perfection. I could see enjoying the property any time of year. I would and will be recommending it to friends. I can't say anything about the surrounding attractions because, for us, there was no need to go anywhere except out on the lake or into the jacuzzi or into the screened in porch to watch a passing thunderstorm or back out onto the deck for another glorious meal. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Best New Years Weekend

I spent 3 amazing nights at this Big Bass Lake house and cannot even put into words what a great time we had. The place was spotless when we walked in, not to mention a note from the cleaning people with mints in the shape of a smiley face for all of us. We had about 12 people total, and it was more spacious than we could have imagined. It was the perfect house for us all to spend quality time together, yet not always be ontop of one another. The game room is great for those inclement weather days, and the view from the house is breathtaking. All of the "little things" that you may tend to forget when planning a trip like this, were there for your use. I couldn't have been happier with the outcome of this trip, and we definitely plan on renting it again in the very near future. We would like to go when the weather is warmer so that we can use the boat which is provided by the owners.
The only thing about this property is that there aren't too many stores in the vicinity (but you can't expect everything when you're in the mountains, right?!)
We all agreed that this was an amazing trip for all, and can't wait to go back!
