Condo, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 1-2)

Imagine waking up in the morning to the most amazing down island view of the British Virgin Islands! Turquoise waters, blue skies, white sands. You can sip your morning coffee or have cocktails on a spacious wrap around porch and lower deck while enjoying the incredible views and ever present breezes.

We are located beach level in the 'D' building, directly across from a large fresh water pool. By August D building will be the 1st to be have a completely renovated exterior with new paint, pergolas and tile. This fall we will offer reduced rates to entice guests to visit Sapphire Beach. It is the most pristine beach on St Thomas and the swimming and snorkeling is the best on island.

Our condo has a newly remodeled fully equiped kitchen with convection/microwave oven, glass cooktop and tiled countertops. You will enjoy a hot shower in a spacious newly tiled bathroom. The bedroom area includes a king size bed, TV,DVD and IPod docking station/CD player/stereo. The living area has a comfortable sofa/loveseat, large flat screen TV & DVD and teak dining set that opens up to beautiful views from the porch.

Fifty yards away at Sapphire Beach Marina, you can rent jet skis, powerboats, parasail, take a charter to the BVI or deep sea fish. Sunset cruises or day sailing adventures are available.

Sapphire Beach is located on the east end of the island five minutes from Red Hook. Red Hook has access to the ferries to St John or the BVI and a number of great restaurants and entertainment. If you are inclined to do your own cooking markets are nearby.

On property there is a snackbar serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches along with a variety of drinks. Beach chairs and snorkel gear are included in the rental.

If you like to travel with friends, we have the adjoining condo available for rental. Open the patio doors and share the patio with your friends during the day and retire to your own condo in the evening. Check our calander for availability, if your dates aren't available, we can ususally arrange alternate locations on property.

About Rosanne Daniels

Darrell is originally from Virginia and I am a Connecticut Yankee! I have learned to love most things southern including the hospitality of the people, the lovely countryside and great southern cooking! We were married at Caneel Bay in St John 6 yrs ago. In fact that is our wedding cake in the photo above.

Darrell purchased our condo at Sapphire Beach while it was being built. As with most people who visit the Virgin Islands and Sapphire specifically, we found the setting to be amazing! Who can resist the gorgeous warn blue water and ever present breezes and terrific views. Our location on the property can't be surpassed. Steps from the ocean or pool.

Fantastic condo on the beach!!

What a great place to stay in St. Thomas. Being from California it took forever to get there but so worth the travel. Every amenity you need is in this condo. It is exactly as the pictures show..lovely. The only thing missing was coffee in the morning....stop and get some before you get to the condo because you will want to enjoy a cup staring at the ocean waves, or the wind surfer, or the para surfer....do you get my point? Sapphire Beach was perfect in so many ways...the water was excellent for snorkeling; Thor made sure we had a drink in our hands at all times; and if we needed anything else the dive shop had it. We went out to eat in the evenings; Pesce Restaurant (Red Hook) was our favorite. We traveled all over the island; the beaches were great. We took our car on the car ferry to St. John. Beautiful - not to be missed! We also took a boat trip to the British VI...again a trip to remember!! It was wonderful to come home to this condo every night! You will not be sorry! Thanks Darrell and Rosanne for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. We will be back...longer next time!!

Everything we wanted and MORE!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at this Sapphire Beach condo. The ammenities were all that we could hope for and then some. We like to eat out, but not every night, and this unit was extremely well stocked with all one would need to cook, includind spices, olive oil, and even the George Forman grill outdoors. With a very nice patio just a stones throw from the pool and the beach it could not be any more convenient. It was very clean and well kept and one could tell that a lot of TLC goes into this place. I would highly recommend this unit and location to anyone looking for a great island retreat.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful Place to Stay!

My husband and I stayed here, and it was everything we expected and more! Beautiful Sapphire Beach literally right in front of you. The pool is next to the condo which was convenient, and being on first level was perfect! The condo was cozy and the owners have thought of everything in keeping it stocked. Red Hook is nearby it is an $8 cab ride, but plenty of restaurants and nightlife. The Carribean Saloon was excellent, really liked the Lemon Meringue and Blue Marlin drinks the ribs are awesome as well as the tuna. Lobster Grille is another recommendation in Bolongo Bay the bartender 007 is who you want. Activities are all available at Sapphire Beach, and a short walking distance you can enjoy dinner cruises and British Island excursion that all leave from the marina at Sapphire Beach. If you are looking for a private, romantic, beautiful location this is the condo to go to, my husband and I would not stay anywhere else. The only issue we ran into was with housekeeping not leaving more toilet paper, lol. Out of all the condos on Sapphire this is the one you want to stay at, the large patio with hammock is ideal for napping and relaxing! Truly awesome place, and can't wait to visit again, the owners are wonderful and helpful with all questions and preparing you for your trip.

This was an awesome unit. It was just steps from the pool & beach. My wife and I really enjoyed the hammock and being on a corner unit- the wonderful trade winds/ Sapphire is such a place. Have stayed at Sapphire before and never disappointed!!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and highly recommend you choose this place if you are looking for a place to stay in St. Thomas. Darrell and Roseanne are very attentative and really have thought of everything to make this really feel like home. This has amazing views and we would stay here again if we come back.
