This luxury, brand new 5 star apartment is in the exclusive residential development of Villa Gadea recently built in one of the most prestigious locations on Costa Blanca. Situated in a protected natural area and surrounded by crystalline waters of charming Olla de Altea Beach just 50 metres away, Villa Gadea development has been designed to offer its residents a feeling of peace and harmony. The apartment has spectacular open views on to the sea, olive gardens and to the historical building of Villa Gadea Art Museum. The apartment is light and spacious with two large terraces, one at the rear with outside Jacuzzi plus superb sea-views and another at the front facing the swimming pool and the magnificent tropical gardens. There are two bedrooms, one with an en-suite equipped with a top of the range built-in Jacuzzi bath to soothe your body for that extra relaxation. The second bedroom has a separate hydrotherapy massage shower.

Altea town often called the Pearl of the Mediterranean, is known as an unspoiled idyllic location in the natural setting of Altea Bay and offers a splendid variety of quiet and beautiful sandy and shingle beaches. Altea old town itself has long been recognised as the Bohemian centre for musicians, artists and writers from all over Europe.

The Apartment: The apartment has a heated Italian marble floor throughout and is complimented with hot/cold remote controlled air conditioning. The walls in the living area and corridors are decorated with a mix of original Spanish paintings and large designer mirrors. The kitchen is ultra modern with stainless steel panels, marble work-tops and is fully equipped with a complete range of top end appliances to make your cooking easy and enjoyable. The utility room is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron. There is private underground secure parking with space for a medium family car and direct access from the front door.

Security: For complete peace of mind, Villa Gadea resort is fully fenced, and access is controlled by electronic gates and a manned security guard at the gate house. The apartment has a colour videophone entry system for easy identification of your visitors. All double glazed windows and doors are fully sound proof and have electronic metal shutters that can be controlled remotely. The apartment is suitable for people looking for an idyllic location, lovers of peace and tranquillity. Please note that pets are not allowed and smoking too is prohibited on the premises.

My wife and I enjoyed three weeks in this wonderful apartment (August & September '09). It was just as described if not even better. It was clean beautifully furnished and located in a wonderful private complex with its own entrance to the beach. The grounds and pool area were very peaceful. Just what we wanted for a relaxing get away from it all break. My wife's sister and daughter also joined us for a week and they were equally impressed. Altea old town is stunning and the promenade is beautiful. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Its also a great base from which to travel. We rarely holiday in the same place twice. I think we may make an exception in this case.

We stayed in Villa Gadea during Easter break in 2008 - family of three. Lovely apartment, beautifully furnished, comfortable for the whole family. Old Town is in the vicinity with it's charm and more important - variety of restaurants for all tastes. Apart from enjoying the place for itself, we found it is an excellent base for the traveling in Spain.

Fab patio area

Stayed here October 2007, the complex was very quiet, actually felt deserted.The apartment is lovely, well equipped and has a fantastic patio, very spacious with a bubbly bath. Unfortunately when we were there they were building across from the apartment everyday, so we only got to enjoy the terrece in the evenings as the JCB was very noisy and created a lot of dust. Im sure they must have finished building now though. Altea itself is very good and has lovely architecture.
the property was clean on arrival and obviously well looked after. At the time we were unhappy that we had not been warned about the building work, but hey time heals! the complex has lovely swimming pools etc

Holiday in Villa Gadea

We have just returned from 2 weeks in this lovely apartment. The property was just as described in the advert, the communal grounds were very well kept and the pool was lovely and warm and peaceful. The apartment was beautiful very clean and well maintained to a high standard.

We would definitely recommed this property.

Altea old town is lovely with far reaching views although parking can be a problem at weekends.

There were many good restaurants in Altea and Calpe and one we called at one night on the road to Calpe on the right hand side just on a bend about a mile from the apartment which offered 3 courses for 5 95 Euros was excellent. (Sorry can't remember the name)
