Our beloved beach cottage, overlooks Silver Lake in S. Rehoboth. Just 2 1/2 blocks from beach & boardwalk, this 1930's beach cottage features 2 screened-in porches, 2 porch swings, a huge backyard patio w/ fire pit for entertaining, tether ball, and lagoon-like Hot Tub w/ Water Fall. Our home has 6 large bdrms, 5 full bathrooms, and 2 outdoor showers. We have a gourmet kitchen, dining room, living rm w/ fireplace, full library, television, lots of games & videos. Our separate Game House next to the patio provides another gathering space - or quiet get away. This 1 room house is fully furnished w/ large flat screen TV, miniature pool table, fridge, and games. Washer/dryer. Central HVAC. Internet. Fenced-in yard. Pets welcome! Free weights and bench in basement.

Wonderful family house, great location

This house is a perfect gathering place for families or groups. We'd never stayed at Rehoboth before and it proved to be an ideal location - a friendly, quiet street around the corner from picturesque Silver Lake, a block from a great dog-walking park, a few blocks from the beach, boardwalk and center of town. We hardly used our cars except to go for a major grocery trip or the movies. The house offers comfortable furnishings, generous rooms, great bathrooms and a good working kitchen, screened porches, an upstairs deck and a beautiful private yard with detached "playhouse" for kids, outdoor showers and a hot tub. Fully fenced so I could let my dog wander and not worry. It was such a relief to discover only pleasant surprises since we rented it sight unseen, just from the internet preview. All I can say is, "Go for it!" You'll be delighted.

Wonderful Family Vacation

My family has been getting together for the past twelve years in Dewey or Rehoboth for summer vacations. This year we had the best experience we have ever had at the "Crane" property. We usually have at least 15 when the whole family gets together and it sometimes seems so crowded. This property is great and laid out so we all had privacy. We enjoyed evening dinners in the backyard with lots of room to gather and talk.
My husband usually stays for a few days and returns home. He was able to do his work on the porch off our bedroom this year and stayed for the entire week.
The dogs had a great time in the nice fenced in yard. The park around the corner was great also for taking the dogs.
We will definitely return next year.

great beach vacation

Our group of ten thoroughly enjoyed our week at this Rehoboth Beach House. It was perfect for our family which included four teenage girls, who were able to have the full upstairs to themselves. The house is ideally located so the kids were able to walk into town, to the boardwalk, or the beach on their own. No driving! The house was clean and comfortable and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and making smores around the fire pit. My only suggestion for fellow travelers is to be sure to bring things like pot holders and dish towels for the kitchen. Overall, a great house and a great week at the beach!

Mother's day weekend

We just returned from staying at the Crane's residence in Rehoboth. My husband and I, our two daughters with their families along with dogs, loved the house. It was in a quiet neighborhood, extremely clean, and well stocked. The AC worked very efficiently, and everyone enjoyed sitting around the fire pit making s'mores while outside. The hot tub was another big plus. The house was walking distance to the Avenue, and very close to the beach. We would definitely rent this house next spring if we plan to go to the beach.

Fabulous Family Memories

My family (myself, my husband and 2 kids ages 8 and 10) have stayed at this warm and inviting home on 3 different occasions. Each visit is more special then the last. The house is perfectly located within walking distance of the beach and the town of Rehobeth. The interior is fun and comfortable with plenty of space for hanging out with family and friends. There is also plenty of room to find a quiet spot to read or relax. The owners have a wonderful array of books and games which came in very useful. The outside of the house was huge hit with the whole family, There is a beautiful hot tub where we spent many hours relaxing and the fire pit in the backyard was the perfect way to end each day. My kids loved the bedrooms upstairs and had trouble deciding which of the cool bunk beds they wanted to sleep in. The "adult" bedrooms are comfortable and roomy with tons of neat decorating touches that make them feel homey. The house was perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. This only adds to the relaxation factor that his home creates. Cindy and Tony, the owners, could not have been more accomodating. Their attention to detail and friendliness made us feel like family. We had no issues with the home but it was clear that if we had needed anything Cindy and Tony would have been very responsive. We would most definitely recommend this home to friends as long as they agree to bring us with them.
