Enjoy the wonderful surroundings of Lake Tahoe in our gorgeous mountain home. It offers over 2200 square feet of spacious living space. There is a newly remodeled kitchen with solid granite countertops, hardwood floors and beautiful wood appointments throughout. There is a large dining table that easily seats 10. The well-furnished large Great Room has a cozy river rock fireplace as a focal point. Enjoy music on the surround sound system or watch a DVD on the TV. Just outside on the private deck is our Hotsprings hot tub with peek views of Lake Tahoe accessible from the great room or the large master suite. We are a short half mile or a 1 mile hike in the woods to Lake Tahoe for summer recreation. In the summer, you will have access to the Agate Bay pool and tennis courts that are an easy 3 blocks away. Hiking and mountain biking are accessible right out our door. In the winter, world class skiing at Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar are 15 - 20 minutes away.

Our home is located close to any activity you might want in the Lake Tahoe region, yet is on a quiet flat street with no power lines so you really feel like you are in the woods. Our location allows you to avoid the crazy crowds thronging the casinos of the south shore. We are also far enough away from busier Tahoe City (7 miles) that you will truly feel you are in the mountains. But if you want a nice dinner on the lake or to rent a boat, you will not have far to go. You can even avoid going through Tahoe City to arrive at our home by going through Kings Beach. In the winter, downhill skiing is available at more than 10 ski areas within 40 minutes with Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar less than 20 minutes away. In the summer, a hike up the hill or a short drive takes you to the Tahoe Rim Trail. Other trails and wilderness are also easily accessible. A large network of trails for mountain biking are right out our door. Enjoy the north shore of Lake Tahoe!

Notes: Enjoy soaking in our hot tub surrounded by trees in the forest. Take a walk in the woods to Lake Tahoe to Patton beach. It is one of the few dog friendly beaches on Lake Tahoe. Several sandy beaches are less than a mile away in Tahoe Vista. At several of the beaches you can rent a Kayak or jet ski. You can rent a boat to take a cruise on the lake in Tahoe City. Carnelian Bay is nearby where you can get a cup of coffee at The Old Post Office Restaurant. There is also a wonderful miniature golf center with views of Lake Tahoe. There are multiple golf courses nearby. If you desire, we can arrange for groceries to be stocked for you prior to your arrival.

Hi Charneys - What a great house! This is not just your ordinary vacation rental - it really feels like your own home. Everything is brand new and very nice. The beds are super comfortable (esp. the master!) and the rooms are very cozy. We loved the kitchen - it's just beautiful, fully stocked, and great how it opens up to the dining and living area. We loved all the windows and the views. The neighborhood is truly one of the best in Tahoe - great for walking, biking and hiking, and close to everything. We also liked that the house is on a big lot - lots of room to run around, and quiet enough to not hear all your neighbors. If it sounds like we're gushing about the house, we are - we've stayed in many different vacation rentals, and yours is by far the best! We will definitely be back!

I can't say enough about this beautiful home. I loved the great room and kitchen where we spent most of our time when we were home. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. They even had two of my very favorite cookbooks! I loved the long dining room table where we enjoyed many meals and played lots of games. Everything is very well organized and labeled. We never had to worry about losing the keys. I loved the binder they put together with ideas for fun things to do while in Tahoe.

The master bedroom and second master downstairs are beautiful and my 19 year old son loved the fire engine bunk beds. We enjoyed a few nights in the hot tub and barbecued several nights. My son has already asked if we can return in the Winter. It would be great to be able to enjoy the beautiful fireplace.

The Agate Bay Sun Club is another bonus to this home. The grounds are beautifully maintained and include a pool, jacuzzi, ping pong and volleyball. It even has a snack shack with reasonable prices.

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation in this great home in Tahoe. I heartily recommend it to anyone.
