Tom Nevers is located on the eastern part of the island, near the village of Siasconset. Some events held over the year at the old Navy base in Tom Nevers is the carnival (in July), the Demolition Derby (August), and the Fall Fair (September). Tom Nevers is considered a quiet and private area to live in, away from the crowd and the busy activity in town in the summer.
