6 bed rooms, 3 full bathrooms, sleeps 10

Only1 hour from Washington DC. and Baltimore Harbor, 15 minutes from Solomons Island. Come and enjoy this beautiful, luxury Chesapeake Bay vacation home. Forget about crossing the Bay Bridge! Enjoy the views and sailing, fishing and crabbing. Our home has one master suit with King Size Bed with full bath (bathtub jacuzzi (no longer allowed to use due to repair) and a separate full shower room). Upper level has 4 bed rooms and the third level has a huge open bed room looking over Chesapeake Bay. The lower level has one bed room, living room, recreation room, family room and open cathedral ceiling kitchen .You can use the unfinished 1200 sq basement as a storage room and an exercise room. Whole house is sanitized after each rental. All mattresses are less than 2 year young and very cushy and comfortable to sleep for two. Neighbor is very private and very quiet. Less than 150ft walking distance to the open beautiful Chesapeake sand beach.

Other than just relaxing and enjoying the amazing view of Chesapeake Bay, there are a variety of nearby activities. On the beach, the fossil hunting, fishing and crabbing are fantastic. You can find all types of fossils (shark teeth, ray teeth, fossilized coral, etc) from the Miocene era (10-20 million years ago). There are very good hiking in the area Calvert Cliffs, Flag Pond, Cypress Swamp, and many other near by parks. Many of hikes are kids friendly. Boating, fishing and crabbing are very popular activities. There is a marina just less than 200ft form the house. You can use swimming pool at the Cove Point Water Park. . Explore Solomons's island, just 15 minutes down the road. Take a trip to historic St. Mary's city or Washington DC museums. There are too many things to see and do, most of which can be found in a book we have complied that is kept at the house.

Great location for family reunion!

Very family friendly. Comfortable furnishings with lots of room for kids and grownups to spread out. Beautiful beach for fossil hunting, fishing, swimming, relaxing. Owner is kind, friendly and responds quickly to questions, problems, etc.
Would come back every year!!!

The owner accommodated our family schedule, was pleasant and easy to work with. The house was spacious and has several areas for family to spend time together or individually. The private beach was beautiful.
We would return summer after summer.

Owner was a very good person to rent from. The house was very nice and roomy. The beach was very private. We were only 45 minutes from Union Station in D.C. Grocery and any thing you could want was only 5 minutes away. Pool at location was unavailable but owner found us a great pool that was private.
