This is a great house that's ideal for couples or families who want to vacation in New Seabury. The house is in great condition and is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. It's only 1/8th of a mile from a freshwater pond and is an easy bike ride or drive to South Cape Beach (1.8 miles away). Mashpee Commons, a popular outdoor mall and movie theater is 5 minutes away and the ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard is easily accessible by car (about 20 minutes away.) The house has a bedroom (with a queen size bed), bathroom and family room on the first floor. There is also a brand new sleeper sofa in the family room. The second floor has the master bedroom and a 3rd bedroom (with twin beds). The floor plan is ideal for in-laws or 2 families vacationing together. During the summer, the deck off of the main level living room is ideal for hanging out after a day at the beach. This house also has a washer/dryer, free wireless access, a new grill, and cable with a TV/DVD player

This house is located in New Seabury, MA -- the premier resort community in Cape Cod. It's very close to South Cape Beach and only 6 houses away from Fell's Pond (a freshwater pond). People who have stayed here have raved in the guest book about how well furnished it is, how nice the location is (at the end of a cul-de-sac) and how comfortable this home is for their family. Some things that jump right out about this house are its proximity to everything you need to enjoy your stay on the Cape. The Pond is right down the street and the house is only 1.5 miles from S. Cape Beach which many people feel is the best beach on the Cape. This home is also walkable to Pomponessett Country Club and is only a five minute drive to Mashpee Commons --which is an outdoor mall with 90 stores, a movie theater and plenty of restaurants. Our guests have also enjoyed the live concerts at the Popponesset Marketplace Thursday through Sunday evenings in July and August.

South Cape Beach: South Cape Beach, located between Waquoit Bay and Vineyard Sound, contains a wide variety of coastal environments, including barrier beach and dunes, salt marsh, scrub oak/pitch pine woodland and 'kettle' ponds. A magnificent white sand beach stretches for over a mile. Newly constructed over-the-dune boardwalks, a small parking area and bathrooms make this a lovely place to spend a day at the shore. Interpretive programs are offered during the summer months.

Directions to the Beach: Park Directions: South Cape Beach is located on the southern part of Cape Cod in southeastern Massachusetts. From the East/Mashpee Rotary: From the Mashpee Rotary follow Great Neck Road (south) toward New Seabury. Turn left at the main entrance, marked with a State Park sign. Between Columbus Day and Patriots Day proceed to the Mashpee Town Beach parking lot at the end of the entrance road. No sticker is required in winter to park at the town lot.

This is the perfect vacation home for a relaxing beach getaway for a family or couple. My family of four were here last year - the location was ideal, the house was beautifully furnished and everything was kid friendly. It's in a beautiful neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac, which was perfect for our young children especially. The beach is very close, as are restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back this summer!
