South Cape Beach: South Cape Beach, located between Waquoit Bay and Vineyard Sound, contains a wide variety of coastal environments, including barrier beach and dunes, salt marsh, scrub oak/pitch pine woodland and 'kettle' ponds. A magnificent white sand beach stretches for over a mile. Newly constructed over-the-dune boardwalks, a small parking area and bathrooms make this a lovely place to spend a day at the shore. Interpretive programs are offered during the summer months.
Directions to the Beach: Park Directions: South Cape Beach is located on the southern part of Cape Cod in southeastern Massachusetts. From the East/Mashpee Rotary: From the Mashpee Rotary follow Great Neck Road (south) toward New Seabury. Turn left at the main entrance, marked with a State Park sign. Between Columbus Day and Patriots Day proceed to the Mashpee Town Beach parking lot at the end of the entrance road. No sticker is required in winter to park at the town lot.
Guest Book: My husband and I just loved out stay at this charming house. We found it had all of our needs met, and especially loved the proximity to South Cape beach, restaurants, and Mashpee Commons. I loved the comfort, coziness and east of just being here. We will definitely recommend this charming rental to others. D. Richmond We appreciated the many conveniences we found in this lovely house--the landscape is a bit different than dry Utah--the hydrangeas at this house are gorgeous. We loved the marketplace and Falmouth--everything was delightful...B. White Thank you so much for this wonderful restorative weekend. Your home is so cozy and adorable. Our children, 6 and 4, appreciated the 'new' (to them!) books and toys. Even when it rained, we were content. Thanks again. J. Pleasure I liked playing at the lake--Eden (age 6) We had a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed the house and found everything we needed. The location is great and we liked the secluded peaceful feeling.
