Our house - ''Just Bluffing'' - is a great cottage with a fantastic unobstructed view of Wellfleet Harbor and Cape Cod Bay. Watch the boats come and go. Stroll the quiet sandy beach. Take a fifteen-minute walk along the beach over Uncle Tim's Bridge into downtown Wellfleet for the morning paper and a cup of coffee. Enjoy any of Wellfleet’s four beautiful ocean beaches, just 2 miles away. Bring along your kayak and paddle around in our beautiful protected harbor. Our home is light and bright and comes complete with a boat mooring. Main floor: informal dining for 6, living room with Flat Screen, well-equipped kitchen, 2 colorfully decorated bedrooms 1 with bunk beds and the other with a full size bed. The first floor has a full bath with beadboard walls. Second floor: A new master suite with a queen bed and a full bath overlooking the Bay and Harbor; master bedroom has a private deck with 200+ degree vistas. “Just Bluffing” has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and sleeps 6 people.

Wellfleet, a charming fishing town just two miles wide is bounded by spectacular beaches, towering dunes, and the roaring surf. The Atlantic Ocean is to the east and the tranquil waters of Cape Cod Bay are to the west. The Cape Cod National Seashore encompasses the entire ocean side of Wellfleet. The Harbor is home to fishing boats, yachts and flats of clams, oysters, and quahogs at low tide. Seasonal visitors may buy a recreational shellfish permit that during the summer months allows shellfishing twice a week in a special designated area. Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary encompasses 650 acres of pines, moors, and salt marsh. The Audubon Society offers wildlife tours of the sanctuary, as well as many nature programs for adults and children. Great Island a peninsula connected by a sand spit provides visitors with more than seven miles of trails along the beautiful bay, dunes, and inner marshes. Quaint galleries and gift shops and weather-shingled old houses line the downtown.

What a special spot!

Our family loved our stay at "Justbluffing" this past summer. The house is well set up well for a family of 4 plus Grandma. The master suite is just perfect and the views are amazing! We caught 5 out of 7 sunsets from the house, all we wished is that they could have lasted longer. If you are looking for a house that is on the water and within walking distance to town you have found your place - just don't take our week:)
