Complete restoration and modernization completed in May 2008. 2000 total square feet. Ground Floor-Living room w/sofa bed, TV, DVD and Stereo. Work desk with high speed Internet (wired and wireless), printer and phone (complimentary long distance in North America). Dining looking out to veranda and terrace seats 6. Master bedroom w/King bed, en suite bath/shower. Entirely new kitchen w/new appliances incl. dishwasher, W/D. Powder room. Shaded furnished Veranda and southwest facing terrace. Private garden w/ BBQ, parking for 2 cars. Upstairs: Bedroom 1 with full-size bed, Bedroom 2 with Queen Bed. Shared bathroom with shower. Max. occupancy 6. Upstairs is air-conditioned.

Old Orchard Beach was settled in the mid 1600's and has been a preferred summer beach destination for people in the Northeast for over 200 years. All furnishings are new or antique cottage style. Fully equipped modern kitchen makes cooking and clean-up easy. All guests are expected to bring their own bedding and bath toweling. In case you have missed or forgotten something, please help yourself to the linen. In turn, please ensure that what you use is properly washed, dried folded and replaced. No Smoking, 1 (well-behaved) dog under 50lbs okay.

We simply loved this cottage. It was so comfortable, relaxing and incredibly well kept and clean.
It was a terrific location for our family. We were able to enjoy the surrounding ammenities and return to a "home away from home." Highly recommend. Jane

Great vacation spot

Our family spent a week here end of July 2008 and wished we rented for two. It was charming, warm and luxurious and we felt right at home upon arrival. The beach was minutes away and relaxing on the veranda at night with a glass of red wine or a tea was enjoyable.

We would recommend this place to family and friends alike, everything we needed was in place, shopping and commodities were near by. The beach and weather were great and walking on the peer a delight.

Owner recommendations for shopping and restaurants were excellent and would recommend his first selection should you like seafood.
