Santa Fe Vacation Rental house

This beautiful little condo was perfect for an extended weekend get-away. It's close enough to the Plaza to walk but on a quiet residential road. The bed was super comfy with nice sheets and blankets and we enjoyed the giant slipper tub in the bathroom (heavy towels and soft bathrobes are provided for your use).

The condo is adorned with wonderful artwork and baskets, and the antique interior doors are beautiful! Had we not wanted to try every restaurant in town this kitchen would have been the next best thing to home with it's giant fridge, gas range and granite counter tops. Outside there was even a cute little patio with a grill, table & chairs. We also appreciated having , though sadly did not partake of, the option of opening a bottle of wine on the honor system.

The condo was very clean and well maintained. Joe was a pleasure to do business with.

only problems we had were very minor:
We enjoyed the radiant floor heating (no cold floors right out of bed!) but for some reason, even turned down as low as they would go, it was quite warm. We actually had to turn on the AC at night to sleep.

The other thing to be aware of, is that the space above is an office with hardwood floors. So unless you are a heavy-sleeper or an early-riser, the stomping upstairs on the weekdays is likely to wake you up.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Casa de los Osos. The location was perfect for walking to a couple of small restaurants and galleries, and if it hadn't been for the rain, we could have walked to the Plaza and back! The casita is well decorated and a warm and comfy place to relax after a hard day of shopping and sight seeing.

We stayed here for four nights over the Memorial Day weekend, and were delighted with the quiet, comfortable, safe, and convenient accommodations. The casita has some luxury features, such as a Wolf gas stove, a slipper tub, and a LARGE glass block shower. Everything worked and was spotlessly clean when we arrived (the instruction manuals for all appliances are in the drawer to the left of the stove, if you need them). The gas fireplace was easy to use (one switch) and provided a lot of warmth. We used the barbecue grill on the patio a couple of times, and found everything we needed to prepare good food in the kitchen.

We found current maps and tourist guidebooks, and we walked from the casita to the Plaza in about 15 minutes. Leaving the car parked at the house was definitely the best way to see Santa Fe on this busy weekend.

The owners were easy to get in touch with, and were helpful in setting up the reservation via email and phone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it for a romantic retreat.
