Lenox Vacation Rental house

My family and I spent three nights at the house in October and had a lovely stay. We had our two small boys, ages 3 and 1, and the home was very child friendly (Carol even had some safety gates at the house). The house has so much character, big open rooms, with double doors that close off most (if not all) of the rooms, so if you want to limit where the little ones wander it's perfect. My in-laws joined us for two nights and had their own wing of the house, separate jaccuzzi bathroom and a beautiful large open bedroom. The other bedrooms were across the hall and spaced out (and also lovely), but close enough to hear the children in the middle of the night if need be. The house is fully stocked and was super clean when we arrived. Beautiful front porch, nice backyard area for the kids to play safely- the kitchen windows look out to the back area so one could even be in the house while watching the kids play. It's on a nice quiet side street, with very little traffic and like a five minute walk into town which is filled with restaurants and shops. Being from the Berkshires myself (I now live elsewhere), I have to admit this is a wonderful spot to tour around the area. Carol, the owner, was very helpful. We would stay here again for sure!

My family and I had a fantastic time at this wonderful, clean, spacious home. I am getting married in Lenox next year, and my fiance and I invited our parents out to the Berkshires to show them around and spend some quality time together before the wedding. This house was fantastic. The living spaces are huge and aplenty, so our family could spread out around the house to catch up on reading, or around the kitchen island. Everyone slept extremely well - all of the beds were comfortable. It was very clean and well-maintained. Carol is an incredible decorator and this comes through in her house. It's extremely well designed. We spent some time visiting B&B's in the area and all of us commented that we liked our house better! My fiance and I have stayed and looked at the higher end B&B's in the area - some of which are extraordinarily expensive for a small room. This was a much greater value without making major sacrifices. In terms of location, it really couldn't get better.

The layout was exactly as described. Our only challenge was the lack of bathrooms on the 2nd floor. Each couple having their own bathroom was a priority for us which required 1 couple to go downstairs. That's a personal decision and is not at all a negative on the house - it's just something to think about if that's what you're looking for.

Net net, we had a fabulous time and can't wait to return!

The house delighted all 6 of us childhood friends who met in this Lenox house for a reunion. It was well-stocked, well-maintained, nicely furnished, beautifully landscaped and very convenient to the center of Lenox. We met the owner and she provided good information about nearby activities and restaurants. I would certainly recommend it to others.
