Historic Center Apartment Rental Photos and Description
1 bedroom, 1 sofa bed, 1 bathroom, 2 living-rooms. Sleeps 2/4. Central location.
Elegant and comfortable apartment with terrace in the historic center of Florence. Completely refurbished in 2014. Two blocks from the Duomo. Centrally located in one of the oldest streets in Florence in the Via La Pergola area. Walking distance to all major sights, Uffizi Gallery, Statue of David, Ponte Vecchio etc. And near the best shopping streets! The apartment is airy and bright. It is very quiet and peaceful which is very rare for the center of Florence. It is in a delightful city-center small 'neighborhood' with its own good, reasonably-priced restaurants, coffee-bars and artisan shops. It is near the open-air food market of Sant'Ambrogio and the Piazza dei Ciompi antiques area in Santa Croce.
The apartment has been restored with immense care, using the finest Tuscan materials, with fine tiles, parquet floors and marble bathroom. It is really well furnished. Refurbished in 2014. A small terrace leads directly off the bedroom. The very large entrance hall with wooden beamed ceiling is set up as a second living-room in addition to the main living room (see photos). This gives a very spacious feel to the apartment. The green double sofa-bed is in the second living room. Because of the lay-out of the apartment, there is privacy for all. The apartment has a really spacious feel - 75 sq. metres/805 sq. ft. The apartment is ideal for 2 or 3 persons but it can accommodate up to 4 persons using the double sofa bed. Unlimted fast Wi-Fi Internet access. Really good Air-Conditioning. Rental rates are all-inclusive: all utilities, A/C, Wi-Fi, linen, final cleaning, taxes. NO hidden charges. The apartment is on the third floor (in US terms fourth floor) without elevator. That is the only drawback of this perfect apartment.
Discounts for stays of 2 weeks or more. Special rate for long stays.

I've been meaning to write for a long time but am just now finding the time. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent you apartment in
Florence - it suited us perfectly! My family and I found it very comfortable and the location was terrific. I will be sure to
recommend it to my family and friends if they should ever take a trip to Italy. Thank you also for all your help in making our stay so
enjoyable. It was a pleasure working with you!
I designed this apartment for my own use. It was a major restructuring job. I have since moved to the Tuscan countryside about 60 miles south of Florence where I grow olives. I enjoy meeting my guests from all over the world and making sure that they are well-looked after.
This area is my favorite in Florence. It is completely central - so you can walk everywhere to see the sights - and at the same time it has a real 'small neighborhood feel' which is unique in the city centre. In the neighborhood you have restaurants, coffee bars, small shops and pharmacy, and yet you are only a few minutes away from the big tourist sights. The Sant' Ambrogio open-air food market is a short walk from the apartment as is the Piazza dei Ciompi Antiques area. The Church of Santa Croce and its vibrant area is a short walk. I am happy to give you tips on restaurants etc.
The peace and quiet - even though you are in the middle of the oldest part of Florence. Everything is within walking distance - no need for a car. The 'neighbourhood' feeling and the great neighbourhood coffee bar - Mingo - run by two very friendly and helpful brothers.
