We have a cozy apartment completely remodeled located in a charming building in North Beach, San Francisco's most desirable tourist destination. You are just steps away from the many cafes, pubs, Italian restaurants, theaters, bookstores and shops of the Italian Quarter. The fully equipped kitchen has custom cabinets and granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.The bathroom is tiled and has custom cabinetry and granite counter tops. One bedroom has a full size bed and the second one a futon. All bed and bath linens are provided. Washer/Dryer available. The apartment has cable TV, Wi-Fi, DVD/CD player, hair dryer. Close to cable car line. MUNI is 1 block away, and walking distance to Coit Tower, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Embarcadero, The Cannery, Pier 39 (ferry to Alcatraz, Sausalito, Tiburon, etc.), Aquatic Park, China Town and the restaurants and shops of North Beach. 1 block to Washing Square Park. Laundry is available. The apartment is located on the second floor. Markets are nearby for groceries, as well as a video store, banks and the post office. A city bus runs conveniently up the hill. The North Beach community center (playground, tennis courts, basketball courts and library) is 10 minutes away. We look forward to making your visit to San Francisco a great one.

This would have to have be the highlight of our US stay. My husband and I plus two teenagers spent a fabulous 10 days in SF. The apartment was exactly as we had been led to believe and a great central locality to all of what SF has to offer. Close to all transport, great food and some great sights within walking distance. We were truly sad to have to leave.Thanks for the great hospitality Natalie. We still talk about when we can return and recommend it to all that we talk to.Only regret it took me so long to write this review.

New year's eve in SF

We spent a great week in SF and we enjoyed staying in this well furnished apt with everything you may will, even the wifi connection. It' s placed in a nice and quite neighbourhood very close to downtown and if you like to walk you can reach Main Street in15 minutes. The owner was very nice and caring to let us spent our time there confortably. I still think to have been very lucky to find out this place for our vacation and I'm willing to recommended it to every family or couple which like to know Sf from the inside.

Only because we absolutely loved, loved, LOVED this place - and I'm afraid it'll be booked up forever - sigh! This apt. really made the whole visit to SF. Everything is even better than advertised and the location is primo! You can get food at restaurants or cafes or go to the Safeway & Trader Joe's and be set. Everything is pretty convenient and the area is lovely. Our family of 4 felt very comfortable and if we had rented a car, the garage would have been sweet (and a real deal...) I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting SF - enjoy your surroundings fully!

We Left our Hearts in San Francisco

My husband and I and our two boys spent a wonderful week in San Francisco and the apartment played a huge part in making it so great. The apartment is "cozy" but there was plenty of room for the four of us. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained and we had everything we needed. The location is ideal and we really felt a part of the neighborhood. Since we drove from IL, being able to park our van in the garage was a terrific bonus considering how parking spaces are hard to come by and very expensive in North Beach. We highly recommend the apartment to anyone who really wants to experience the city and not feel so much like a tourist. We could have easily spent another week or two!

We've Discovered A Gem

We exclaimed the moment we entered the apt. It looks even better than the pictures. Everything looks brand new. The kitchen is immaculately clean and gleaming and it has every appliance you'd ever need. The bathroom and shower are so luxurious. The rooms are so tastefully decorated. Beds so comfortable. My husband and I had our daughter traveling with us, and she was so impressed with this apartment that she can't wait to rent it for herself and her husband next time she visits California.

Rental arrangements were so easy and it was a pleasure to deal with Nathalie. We will stay here again for sure and would never chose to stay in a hotel and live in just one room. A nice hotel suite would be prohibitive because of the price and still wouldn't be as spacious, pretty or private. This is where we will stay when we return, 2 Genoa Place. We can't wait! It is such a nice neighborhood. We love everything about it.

North Beach is a fantastic location, has a European feel to it. Great place to walk, with Washington Square, a great park just down the hill. If you haven't seen Coit Tower, be sure to walk up and see it. Maybe you will be as lucky as we were to see the famed parrots of Telegraph hill. Most all of San Francisco's major sights and attractions are accessible with great public transportation.

We loved our morning walks to Boulange for breakfast, where they serve the cafe au lait in bowls. Mama's was fantastic for breakfast too, unbelievable menu, well worth the wait in line for the delicious eggs Benedict. There are Italian restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, delicatessens, pastry shops and bakeries, cafes, and shops too numerous to mention. If you need a recommendation for a fantastic Italian restaurant with fun atmosphere and terrific food, try Tomasso's on Kearney St. The manicotti and sausage were the best. All of San Francisco's major sights and attractions are accessible with great public transportation. You won't find a better location than this.
