Charming 600 square feet apartment located in Telegraph Hill/ North Beach area. Sleeps 3/4 adults or a family of 4 with 2 children.

You are just steps away from the many cafes, pubs, Italian restaurants, theaters, bookstores and shops of the Italian Quarter. It is the perfect gateway in San Francisco.

The apartment is located in a quiet area close to the cable car line. MUNI is 1 block away, and it is walking distance to Coit Tower, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, Embarcadero, The Cannery, Pier 39 (ferry to Alcatraz, Sausalito, Tiburon, etc.), Aquatic Park, China Town and the restaurants and shops of North Beach. 1 block to Washing Square Park. The North Beach community center (playground, indoor pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and library) is 10 minutes away

The apartment is completely remodeled. The fully equipped kitchen has custom cabinets and granite counter tops as well as stainless steel appliances.

The bathroom is tiled and has custom cabinetry and granite counter tops. One bedroom has a full size bed and the second one a futon. There is a sofa bed in the living room.

All bed and bath linens are provided.

Ideal Apartment and Location

This would have to have be the highlight of our US stay. My husband and I plus two teenagers spent a fabulous 10 days in SF. The apartment was exactly as we had been led to believe and a great central locality to all of what SF has to offer. Close to all transport, great food and some great sights within walking distance. We were truly sad to have to leave.Thanks for the great hospitality Natalie. We still talk about when we can return and recommend it to all that we talk to.Only regret it took me so long to write this review.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Superb location, comfortable accommodation

My family (with 2 small boys) stayed here for 4 nights in July 2012. The apartment was great - comfortable bedrooms and living area with a functional kitchen for self-catering. The location is superb with many restaurants and cafes nearby. Coit Tower is only minutes away and many other sights/locations can be easily accessed by walking (bearing in mind the hills) but the cable car stop and buses are also close at hand. Happily recommend this apartment to others!

Brilliant location

This was our third visit to San Francisco and we only wish we had discovered this apartment earlier! We were three adults - 2 from the UK and one from NZ. The apartment was ideal for us and the location was perfect to explore almost everything on foot. For the days when the sightseeing became just too much, the No 39 bus stopped virtually outside the door. The apartment was very clean and contained everything we needed. Nathalie was very helpful at sorting out the few minor blips that occurred and we also appreciated her gift of Ghirardelli chocolates. The local mini market in Grant had everything we needed (mostly picking up a cold bottle of wine on the way home ...). The local restaurants in North Beach were lovely - we never ate in the same one twice - but for something special, we would recommend Forbes Island down by Pier 39 (you can only reach via a small boat). We also enjoyed the Stinking Rose on Columbus. Another must-do is the Segway tour! If we manage to make it back to San Francisco, we will definitely stay there again. Perfect vacation apt!

We have just returned from a perfect San Francisco vacation and this apt. rental was definitely part of the reason. The apt. was exactly as pictured on the website...clean, great size, private and with fantastic views. The location was the best-- a short 3 block downhill walk to Washington Square Park where public transportation awaited...just buy a Muni pass and you are set as there was always a bus within minutes! We even walked down the street with luggage on our departure day and took the local bus to the Bart without any problems. The area was bursting with restaurants, felt very safe and addicted us to gelati at Naia on Columbus. I must agree that the front bedroom does get street noise at night, not alot, but may bother you if you are a light sleeper. The owners were so easy to interact with and at our request notified us when the apt. was ready for a early arrival time-much appreciated! I would never hesitate to recommend or stay in this apt. in North Beach again and maybe someday I will!

Living like a local

have been staying in fancy hotels until I realized how much more fun is to stay in a vacation rental appartment.By that I would not skip to mention all the "delights of living like a local",like in this case,learning how to unlock the gate of the old Edwardian building, being woken up by the garbage truck running under the bedroom window at 5:30am or party minded youth in wee hours and how to manage living like most of the world population does-in a compact space.All this is only a part of experiencing life in the charming building, in one of the most privileged locations of such a beautiful city.My family had a great stay in this cute appartment,only 2 blocks from what the realtors call "quintessential San Francisco life" and we feel that nothing can beat this experience.The place is basic,but clean and equiped with everything one needs for a short stay .The views of Russian Hill from the living room (bay!)window are priceless!The neighbours did not bother us at all and we hope that they felt the same about us.The building is on the hill,fortunately not very steep and easily accessible for an average fitness level.
Tony's pizzas are the best we had in a while,but there is so much more on Stockton and Grant St,from good eateries to fun fashion stores.We didn't even bother with Columbus Ave touristy spots...
Nathalie was available,helpful and very informative, not to mention her kind gesture of bringing us fabulous Ghirardelli's chocolates.Thank you Nathalie!We are looking forward to coming back!
